With much joy and optimism.

Place your mouse over this pic for a second pick. Many pics have a second pic behind them on this site.
Day 1 - Central, cloudy and rainy.
We visited many places in Hong Kong one of them was Kowloon Island.
  Oh boy is it humid.
This is were the Hong Kong wall of fame starts.
Fear the Kung Fu!
The walk of fame is along the coast.  With Bruce Lee as guard and Jackie Chan lurking.
Bruce Lee in Kung Fu pose. No shirt becuase its humid.
Night time over Central Island.
I have to say that the  view was wonderful.

However, it was still humid. Talk about sticky.
Day ? - This is Central Island at night, picture taken at Points Peak.
So here we are at Aberdeen Harbor.  People live on boats in this harbor.  As shown in the hidden picture.

I enjoyed the 25 minute boat ride, which left a nice big
smile on my face.  Unlike my comrades here.
Maybe it's to humid.

Welcome to Nathan
We all decided that we would take a day off from each other and go our seperate ways.
I have to say i enjoyed my time at Nathan on Central Island.  It has nice street shops with an open air shoping mall that not only has a temple in it, it also has a McDonald's.

I even took a swim at the beach, not the best waters, but it was a bit humid so i said what the heck.
Nathan
While at Nathan I decided to do some walking of the main tourist roads.  I found my way to this cemetary.  Buried here are various service man that helped protect Hong Kong during WWII, as well as local people as far back late 1800's.

Time to relax
Capped of my side trip with a nice swim at the beach.
Relax Time
On to Macau
We actually tried to go to Macau twice.  The first time we forgot our passports and the second time we had some issues at immigration, but we eventually made it.
Yes, I would like fries with that.
It takes over an hour to get to Macau from Central.  A former Portugese colony, there are still remenants of the language and architecture throughout the city.
McMacau
Aside from gambling there really is not much to do on Macau.

The picture on the left shows a nice picture of a little girl talking to her grandma, however, i find the picture behind it a bit more close to home.

    "Remember to smile"
Life imitating art.
I look good in blue.
On the final leg of our trip, Myself, Adriane, and Leo walked back to the harbor to catch the boat back to Central.
Unfortunantly I didn't get to gamble. Maybe, next time.

Hong Kong International Airport
Well i suppose it had to end.  We got to the Airport around 6:30 AM and waited to go home.  The trip lasted an entire week, of which I can say was quite worth my time.
It's a zoo.
At the airport, all the smokers are required to smoke behind a glass wall.  I felt the urge to tap on the glass and see if they react the same way as fish.

But, alas my efforts were thwarted.
Smokers' Alley
The trip began on April 27th and ended on May 4th.  It had its ups and its downs, but I'd like to think that the ups, far outweigh the downs.  I give my thanks to my travel parters becuase without them,   I would of had to argue with myself.

    Bests,
