| Well, I'm a week into the new school year and I'm ready tired of classes. In case you're interested, the classes I'm taking are: Intro to Communication Studies Shakespeare Business Law African American History Elementary Calculus with Trig Urban Public Issues So far the only interesting class is Business Law, surprisingly. I've taken another section of the Shakespeare class so I know what to expect there and I like the professor, I've taken the math class before and hated it, Comm is too long (75 minutes twice a week) and my black history class is online and hasn't started yet due to technical difficulties. So far, I've found a hair in my sub from the dining hall, the laundry room only accepts quarters (which I never have), my room is a weird shape with not enough storage, I keep forgetting to buy important things when I go to Wal-Mart, one of my bio labs might not count towards graduation and it has been ridiculously hot here. On the plus side, the room is always really cold which is great after living in hot dorms for three years, I bought pretty fabric to hang in our closet, my mom sent me a mirror to hang on my wall after I complained that there isn't a mirror in the room, football season has started (go hokies!!) and there hasn't been any drama in suite 210 (as far as I know). I've been told that the next group vacation will be a cruise to Bermuda so I have that to look forward to, plus the Vegas trip in December with Asia minor. More to come soon! |
