23-1: Its Miller Time

Hey ppl I know what you’re all thinking, ‘why hasn’t Hoj posted for over 2 weeks’ well here I am. Guess its been down to a combination of laziness and writers block, anyway much has happened since I last wrote so I’ll give a quick update.

Well my mum and dad went on a holiday for their anniversary around new year time and the 3 bro’s had the house to ourselves, anyway you quickly realize how dependent you are on your parents when their gone. We managed to feed ourselves without to many problems but I was running out of underwear towards the end of the week. Also around that time my cousin came to visit us as she is studying down in Durham. Anyway I do find it quite awkward with my cousin, since she is from HK I feel I should be talking to her in Chinese, but my Chinese is crap so I feel theres always that barrier there. To be honest I didn’t really make enough of an effort so I guess I should next time.

Last Sunday I was also lucky to see ‘The Last Samurai’ starring Tom Cruise. I really enjoyed the film and thought that it was probably the best film I’ve seen in a long time (including LOTR:ROTK). It made me think how most countries have lost their old identities, I mean in Scotland how many ppl do you know who speak gaelic or go to highland games or something like that? Still I do enjoy a Ceilidh, I know the verse and chorus of Old Lang Syne and I now know all 3 verses to Flower of Scotland.

Almost at the end now, I’ve booked my driving test for the 12 of February which is 3 weeks this Thursday, not to nervous yet but sure as it gets closer I’ll probably be packin it, still I’m fairly confident of my driving abilities so fingers crossed

Finally a special mention to Wolves who beat the player stealing scum that is Manchester United, it just showed the ppl who said that the Premiership was becoming predictable that they were wrong, with the relagation favorites beating the favorites to win it.
