Halloween
Yes, it's really quite shocking, I managed to get this done even though my computer was nonexistant for over three weeks!
Here are some things that we're doing all week to celebrate:
Halloween Feast - The Halloween Feast/Party/Ball will take place on Saturday, November 1st, from 5:00 EST-11:00 EST, in the Dining Hall. :)
Halloween Creative Writing - There is a Halloween Creative Writing story up in the AP Creative Writing forum, so go take part in this spooky story and earn your house some points!
Patroller Challenge - Headmistress Odietta is going to start the Patroller Storyline in the Forbidden Forest "sometime" around the week of Halloween. Patrollers, post! ;) Or not, if you're Amiya!
Forbidden Forest Challenge - The Forbidden Forest on Halloween, what could be more...fun? Simply post a message in the Forbidden Forest anytime this week asing for a "challenge"..and you will get one (whether you want it or not)! A riddle, a monster..or something else entirely, it's all up to the HM's. And then you get to reply. Haha. Those with the best/most creative/most challenges recieve..surprise, surprise, house points!
Happy...Halloween! - Any time during the week that the Headmistresses post with the word "Happy" in their posts on the message board, the first person to reply with "Halloween" gets 10 house points! Spelling counts!
Halloween Homework - A special homework opportunity to earn house points, since the end of the Guided Plot is coming up! Please Note: All normal homework rules apply. Please send all homework assignments to the Headmistresses. with the subject: Halloween Homework (Subject)
Art V-draw and color a picture relating to Halloween at Hogwarts-can be from the book OR made up.
Care of Magical Creatures III-Describe one animal/monster typically associated with Halloween and why.
Potions IV-Create a special potion to keep you safe on Halloween.
Transfiguration III-Successfully change a pumpkin into a jack-o-lantern, and describe the spell you used.
Trick..or Treat? Very easy to participate in. Just send the Headmistresses an owl with the subject "Trick or Treat" and the Message your Name and House, and you will randomly be rewarded with a Trick or a Treat. Mwhahaha!
