Hogwarts Professor Application Form 2003

----------------------------------------------------------------

Send the form to [email protected], we will contact you within a few weeks.

----------------------------------------------------------------

1.The Title/Topic of your Class

What is the topic of your class and what is the title? (Topic maybe "Potions" and Title may be "Advanced Potions" e.g.)

2. Who are You?

Tell us something about yourself: how old are you, what do you do? Why do you think you qualify for the topic you want to teach? Have you already been a student of Hogwarts Academy or are you a complete newbie? Please give your name if you are a member of Hogwarts already. Teaching at Hogwarts requires a lot of time, do you think you can manage?

3. A Course Outline

What are you planning to teach in your course?

4. Class Style

How do you plan to run your class? Will there be monthly / bi-weekly assignments? Will the assignments be mandatory or voluntary? Do you have any special projects planned?

5. Planned Size of your Class

How many students do you plan to accept? Many students mean a lot of work (reading homework / answering mails etc.), on the other hand: you will loose several students along the way, not allstudents will participate and some may cancel your class because of other problems or because they chose too many classes. So it is always a good idea to accept a few more students than you had originally planned.

6. Teaching

Do you plan to teach the class on your own or do you want to get yourself a co-teacher / assistant / student assistant(s)? If so, you will be the one to hire them and some sort of survey like this one is required to give them.

7. Lesson Plan

Please give us a detailed lesson plan for the duration of your coure.

8. Website, Class Forum

Where do you want to hold your class? Where do you plan to hold your class? Do you plan to have a website/forum/Yahoo-group? Where will these be located (if you have an address already, please state it). Do you need help with HTML programming/forum etc? You could have an area in our Classes & Clubs Forum and/or an Office in our Office Area of the Main Forum (http://hogwartsacad11.proboards21.com/) or you could do it on your ownsite/server. Please tell us what you are planning. Please note that if you are teaching a class, a website is a must have. You cannot have a forum and no website.
