Hogwarts is a school for witches and wizard in England. It's got a lot of secret passages and twists and turns. The staircases change constantly, so you have to be careful. Portraits are all over the walls, and the people in them move freely about. Surrounding the castle is the Forbidden Forest. There is also a Quidditch Pitch near the castle where the houses compete for the cup. All sorts of strange animals live in the Forbidden Forest, including the centaurs. The lake is also near Hogwarts. A road goes around the lake to the train station where the Hogwarts Express lets off the members every year for school and takes them home at the end. The train station is near Hogsmeade. Oh yeah, the castle has a muggle-repelling charm on it, so to muggles it just looks like a run-down place with a "Do not enter" sign on it. Students can also go home for the Christmas Holidays if they want. The school moto is "Draco Dormiens Nunquam Titillandus" which means "Never Tickle A Sleeping Dragon". Albus Dumbledore is the current headmaster of the school.
