Modern Day Epic started playing a little after 9 and they were awesome. This was their second show, but the first time I've gotten to see them. They played great, but like with most shows around town, the mic could have been louder. Oh well, it was still awesome. The older of the two drunk assholes tried to start a fight with Mitch during their set and got kicked out.
The next band up was The For Reals. They took forever to set up though, one guy's amp wasn't working so they had to borrow one. The guys in the band were around 25 to 50 years old, so we were apprehensive before they started playing, but they turned out very good. Slow music though, it would have been better on cd, with less distortion. No drunken moshing.
Anbot Rodroid played after them, also very good. Cynthia said they sounded like Bright Eyes, I have never listened to them though. All I can relate it to is Pink Floyd, they sound nothing the same. They're just both good stoner music.
The last band was The Strawberries. They were incredable. I could only stay halfway through the set, but they were awesome. If i had the money I would have bought one of their cds.
I strongly recommend any of these bands, especially Modern Day Epic and The Strawberries. You should all trust my opinion too, because I'm over critical of music. Check out Brandon Mitchell's Site, he will probably have songs or videos from the show. It's sad, I don't even know the guy, but I visit his site every day. Check out Modern Day Epic too. They have a couple songs you can download on their site.
