All About Me!
My name is Tracy Hoffmeister and I have been
teaching for 9 years in Kenton County.  This is my first year teaching at Ludlow Elementary and I cannot tell you how excited I am. I have lived in Ludlow all of my life, in fact I only live 14 houses away from the house I grew up in.  I graduated from the high school in 1994 and went on to Northern Kentucky University to complete both my Bachelors and Masters degrees in Elementary Education in 1998 and 2002.  I am currently working towards obtaining my Rank I certification in special education.
This is a picture of my children, Noah and Ava.   Noah is 4 years old and is in Mrs. Keeley's class here at SVE and Ava is 1 year old!  We like to go for walks, swim and play outside.  We also love to read books together.  Brown Bear, Brown Bear is one of our favorites!

Homework
Every evening your child  will have about 15-20 minutes of homework.  The homework will consist of the following:  10 minutes of reading aloud to an adult, (a reading log will come home for you to sign every night after your child has read to you.)  After reading your child will need to study his/her Word Wall Words.  ( I suggest having your child read the words to you and then spell them aloud  as they write them.  The last bit of homework will consist of either a math worksheet (MWS) or Math Flash Cards (MFC).  If the homework is MFC then I will expect you and your child to go through the addition facts flash cards that you have at home.  Again this homework should not take more than 20-25 minutes.
Click on the link below to view what your child's assignment book will look like.  It will come home every night.  Your child will have written his/her homework in it.  When it is finished you will need to sign the bottom.
