Well the changes continue. The puppies are liking the increased room and are starting to romp and play. Tonight for the first time they responded to my voice and came running to the end of the Xpen near the door. So ears are opening and they are starting to hear. I laid on the floor with them for a while and my boy, Osiris, cuddled with me for quite a while. Everyone is walking albeit a bit unsteady and Tara tried to run . Poor Nykeita is not safe even when standing as they are learning to balance on those developing rear legs, to raise up and grab a nipple, and to hang on for dear life!!

Another first for them was they met their first "strange" dog. My personal female dog, Inori aka "Aunt 'Nori", is a wonderful big sister/aunt to all my foster puppies. She wanted to meet them tonight while Nykeita was outside so I let her come in. She was not appreciative of the pups nursing efforts and wanted to leave quickly. But I got a quick picture of her while in there. And yes she has eyes but she has learned camera click = bright light and so closes her eyes as soon as the camera clicks.

Weights are going to be twice weekly endeavors now since they have gotten too big (actually too wiggly!) for the produce scale. But they are all growing well -- shiny, soft coats; good muscling; and are playful. Personalities are continuing to emerge.

Pictures -- All hanging out together and meeting Inori.
