Pupdate: September 6, 2006
Many changes the last several days. All the puppies have their eyes open and they are starting to use their rear legs. Personalities are starting to emerge a bit. Jade is a bit of a loner and she was the first one to figure out how to get out of the pool. I think it was strictly academic for her since Nykeita was not in the room at the time. Monty also figured out how to climb out but he was in search of food since I found him next to Nykeita.
They all are starting to walk - well stumble more - and are finding their voices a bit. Osiris is the most vocal and he fusses at me when I pick him up. He is by far the moose of the group outstripping Tara by 6 oz already! She is the next largest and the largest female. Bongo is no longer the smallest but, as all but Tara and Osiris are "running" neck and neck in the weight category, the rest are right there together. He is definitely the most active and vocal of the group. I imagine he is going to be the instigator or one of them anyway. BlackJack and Tara are the two calmest and Kiara loves to snuggle. Monty has not developed much of a personality yet.
Nykeita is doing well and starting to spend more time out of the pool although that is becoming less and less of an escape. This weekend the goal is to figure out some way to contain them while letting Nykeita have a break when she wants but able to get to them when she wants

- Osiris: 18 oz : 40 oz : 62 oz!! (the moose)
