Neuters went without a problem. The puppies were fast to go to sleep, quick and routine surgery, and quick to wake up. The first picture was taken right after Monty got out of surgery. BlackJack was getting sleepy for his surgery!
The boy puppies work up quickly - this is about an hour after the last surgery. They are sitting up
And about 90 minutes after surgery are standing and playing a bit.

The boys were in a kennel just across from where Nykeita and the girl puppies were. They are all looking at the boys concerned, I think, except for Kiara who was sleeping and ignoring it all!

It did not take long for the male puppies to get back to normal. They were up eating within 3 hours of having surgery. These pictures show the general chaos of feeding time!!

And all but one of the puppies in the car waiting to go home! Again as you can see the boys are none the worse the wear for their surgeries today!!.

BlackJack is "hiding" in the concrete block maze waiting for a victim. And then little Bongo comes along! They wrestle but are friends afterwards.

And then Bongo goes and attacks Jade. Trust me she took nothing off of him and in the next second had him pinned!

Bongo and Kiara wrestle in the background as BlackJack and Osiris (front puppy) standby!

BlackJack standing up looking out. Osiris sits in the middle and Bongo walks by to come to say Hi! The three girls Tara is right beside the wooden panel, Jade is right next to her, and Kiara is in the background.

Tara sitting in the back with her cute little pudgy face! Bongo sitting in the middle. Monty is standing off to the side and Kiara is standing at the front!

Don't forget to check out the individual puppy pages for their individual pictures taken today. They are not the best pictures as they are not the most cooperative subjects either trying to jump off or crouching down. I got some good shots when they were out playing on the 4th!

The three girls were spayed today and black spots found on the tongue. This confirms my theory that dad was a Chow mix. Tara took the most after her dad with softer, longer fur and pudgy cheeks! This is taken 5 minutes after the last surgery.

Kiara was getting too rambunctious for the other recovering pups so went into her own cage. She is standing and checking out the camera about 45 minutes after surgery.

Jade (left) and Kiaria (right) are recovering still.

All three about 1 hour (still resting) and 1.5 hours (starting to play & wrestle) after surgery

Taken about 3 hours post-surgery they were put into a run once they fully woke up, they were fed, played and were played with for a bit, and then bellies full they went to nap in unison!!
