| A match consists of 3-1 minute time periods in grades school matches. The Object is to control your opponent, and to win the match through points or Pin. A pin is holding the opponents shoulder blades to the mat for 2 consecutive seconds. POINTS are awarded as follows: Takedown 2 Pts (bringing opponent to the mat and having control) Escape 1 Pt. ( when bottom wrestler gains a neutral positon and opponent loses control) Reversal 2 Pt. ( when bottom wrestler gains control on mat or rear standing position.) Near Fall 2 or 3 Pts. Penalty 1 Pt. |
