Also included are hockey pants, socks, shirt numbers and helmets if applicable.

Importing Graphics into NHL 98 using
the EA Graphics Editor

Find your NHL directory. Select gamedata then select Uniforms. Find the uniform you want to replace e.g. Russia (white) is UNI0440. Select which part of the uniform you wish to replace e.g. TORF (front jersey).

Now select Import Wizard. Select the top option button. Then click Next.

Select Browse. Find the add-on you want to import. Open the file. Select Preview to view your file. Then select Next.

The import wizard will then say Data Processing Complete. Click Finished. Close the original TORF file. Select TORF again and your imported add-on should appear.

Note: If strange colors appear in the game with any add-on, save original EA file e.g. UNI0440 TORF, giving it your own new file name, then paste the add-on over this, then try importing it again, and this should remove any strange colors.
