Demo Day!

After a fun-filled night at Screams (haunted house thing), we were off to Demo Day! We were extra paranoid about anything damaging our precious completed binder! Priscilla was getting close to making everyone wear white gloves while handling it. Well, we loaded up all the necessary tools (that we ended up never using) and Hippolyta and drove off in the Lohmobile and Abbo's truck. Priscilla got a big ego boost from the people that liked the BEST shirts (she designed them, doncha know). We tested Hippolyta out on the test course several times, placing well in each round. The only problems we faced were the length of the arm at the beginning and an indignant swivel wheel. We also turned in our sacred binder and looked through the binders for the other teams, which were awesome! We met some kids from other schools and checked out their robot ideas, then left. (Jeez, I have dull sentence structure!) Then we spent several hours in Loh's room working on a new swivel wheel made from a golf ball (extremely cool!) because the debaters wouldn't let us in the JETS lab because we're too noisy. That's about it.
