Greetings fellow comrades! (sheesh, talk about communist talk)
First of all, I would like to thank priscilla for her wonderful job as the secreterran on friday. yay! Also, on Friday, Amy (our former JETS prez. showed up and used the big drilling machine. It was very nifty. GO AMY!
well on Saturday Mack and I got to learn a lot of physics....yeah right. Okay, we did learn a LITTLE about physics. Basically, we tried to measure the torque and rpm of the big motor. it took us about two hours to do that. While, Cherise, Betsy, and Priscilla happily put together the table saw together Nancy and Joanne toiled over the front wheels. And Stephanie and Emily (our eighth grade rep) took apart Steph's printer. I finished putting the mount on the wheels (takes a bow) but mr. loh ruined my spotlight by showing every one my screw head (the head was pulled off perfectly. not even stripped!). It is now officially epoxied on one of our cabinet doors, thanks to mr. loh. Moving on, our front wheels are basically done. Now we just have to make them function as planned, thats the fun part. Our back wheels are just the proto, and since we found the torque of the motor we can now find out the perfect radius of the wheel. Talk to Mack or Chungy if you're interested in how it was done.
Okay so we had to do all of this because stupid Globe motors didn't have this information on the motors that they made. BAD globe motors! it.
From the computer of your secreterran,
Chungy
