A seven volume Korean manga series

This series describes how an unlikely loveable lad, Raenef, is chosen as a new demon lord. His likeable character being somewhat at odds with his destiny. The gods assign a severe and formal demon, Eclipse, to mould Raenef into a fearsome evil lord. However, curbing Raenef's easy going, cheerful nature is no easy task. Raenef has no desire to kill anyone either. Not surprisingly, his foes find it hard to take him seriously. Much to the despair of Eclipse...

This a light hearted fantasy Manga, with some very comic moments. I enjoyed the series (but was not keen on the 'bonus' stories in volume one - a waste of ink, I think).
