| MAC TRANS is a small family owned charter transportation business that provides affordable shuttle service for the Lackland/Kelly military community. Since 1987, MAC TRANS (formerly Super Van) has provided transportation services for Lackland's Basic Training graduations that are held every Friday. MAC TRANS offers shuttle service from the Airport and off base motels and hotels for relatives for graduating Airmen. MAC TRANS also transports Lackland's large Tech School population to and from all locations in San Antonio. MAC TRANS prices range from $3 for one-way rides anywhere on Lackland Air Force Base, $4 for one-way rides to and from the hotels and motels located just off base, $15 for one-way rides to and from the Airport/Train/Bus Station, $12 for rides to and from the downtown area (rates are lower when more than one person rides).
