Common Sense: Another woman has sued McDonald's for being burned by their HOT coffee. I mean what does she expect to get? Cold coffee? Mildly warm coffee? NO! HOT coffee! What you order is what you get! So this woman gets over a million dollars because McDonald's is rich and that's like pennies to them. But what about the rest of us? Also let's think� who ordered the coffee� who spilled the coffee� who is somehow did not know the HOT coffee was going to be hot? The most she deserves is $100; 85 bucks for wasting her lawyer's time, and 15 bucks for new coffee and clothes. "I spilled ketchup on myself! McDonald's put too much ketchup in this hamburger! They didn't even tell me there was tomatoes in ketchup... and I'm allergic to tomatoes! I'm suing them for a million bucks!" That is retarded. I need to pass a law to prevent this sort of thing from happening. It should be called the Common Sense Law. This way when there are crazy people like this trying to get a truckload of money from rich companies like McDonald's, the "Common Sense Law" would help the judge. Then the only question would be, "Should we really pay this woman more than 100 dollars for this?... Didn't think so, case closed." The judicial system would be so much better off.
