Hi my name is Mr. Moss.
I teach Exceptional Student Education at Redland Middle School in Homestead, Florida.

I am also the Crime Watch Coordinator for the school among many other duties assigned by the Principal Mr. C. De Priest. My school Redland Middle has been honored by ade County Crime Watch as MIDDLE SCHOOL of the YEAR. I am also honored by being named CRIME WATCH ADVISOR for the M-DCPS District 2003-2004.

Project Title:  Cities of Florida That Make It a Fun Place to Live Work and Learn.

Project Summary:
I am an 8th grade teacher who would like to see how many cities in Florda my class can learn about via the internet or e-mail and instant messenger.

Project level: Basic
curriculum: History, Social Studies, and Information Technology.

Full project description:  Students will collect information about Florida  cities, counties, and major industry within the State of Florida.

My classes can learn about cities via the internet or, insant messenger around the State of Florida. Participants  will answer 7 questions pertaining to their selected cities.

Thank you to the cities who respond to our plea!

Objectives: To learn more about the cities that make  Florida a great place to live. To locate the many cities inside of Florida.  To see how the internet can be used as a communication tool.The questions I would like to have answers to are: 

1)City's name

2)Location in Florida

3)County the city is in

4)Population of the city

5)Major industry of the city

6)Major sites of interest in the city.

7)Who is responding to our request and an address for us to thank you for the contribution to our project.

My students and I are excited to see how different cities will reply and we look forward to charting our progress over the year. We Will share our findings with other classes and schools. Thank you to the cities who respond to our plea!
