"Concert Choir"
About The Choir
The Huntington North High School Concert Choir, under the direction of Mr. John Wenning, has participated in the ISSMA organizational competition the past 19 years. The 40 member choir has consistently received 1st division ratings every year. They were finalists in the ISSMA state competition in 1993. They were awarded 1st runner-up in the Concert Choir Division at Pike Music Fest in 1999, 2nd runner-up in 2000 and 1st runner-up 2001. In 2002,  they were named Grand Champions of the Center Grove High School "Best of the Midwest" Concert Choir division, 3rd runner-up two years in a row at the North Central H.S. MIC Competion and 2004 Grandchampions at Carroll Highschool .
The Singers
This choir performs more sophisticated choral literature and is designed to provide students instruction in the development of the technical skills of singing, as well as the experience of ensemble singing in larger musical forms. This organization presents fall, Christmas and spring concerts, and participates in ISSMA organizational contests.
