Poem Thoughts to Ponder Don’t be disturbed about being misunderstood, but troubles much about not understanding. It’s not what others think you know that matters; it’s ones own lack of knowledge that counts. Wisdom is God’s gift to his children, but a fool will not know the difference. Knowledge is acquired by research, but is dangerous without wisdom. The fool has said in his heart "there is no God," but how would he know for he is a fool. After the flood there were two "after his kind" from whence species evolved, and creatures multiplied. Science, seeking to explain creation, came up with the "big bang" theory, but if there was nothing, then there was nothing to bang. The Bible says, in the beginning God"’ Amen! If science is correct that the universe is billions of years old, so what, God is eternal. According to the Bible, man is relative very young on the earth, science has not disproved it… Until more recently, the so called "gap" theory, that between verse one and verse two of genesis one, there was a great expanse of time, that explains the age of the earth: And the earth was without form and void," the question, was it created without form and void? (And then the re-creation, beginning in verses two. "And the Spirit of moved upon the face of the waters…" |
