Poem The Glory, in the Morning
"Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning" Ps. 30:5b
The night, and then the morning That is ours at the end of the day The trails and troubles that vex us now Will all soon pass away.
The night proceeds the morning In Creation, it was so So let us look up and take courage His glory we surely will know.
The thorns and thistles that vex us In our journey in this old life The heartaches we share along the way Is part of this road of strife.
The Garden of Eden, its birthplace That’s where it all began The cross on which our saviour died The price God paid for our sin. . So let us look up and take courage The battle has long since been won Our Saviour is waiting to greet us When the glorious morning comes!
