I’m a teacher, that’s what I am!

The best that I can be

I give my life for others

That I may follow Thee (Lord)

I plan my work from day to day

It’s always on my mine

Those little ones God gave to me

So tender, oh so fine

What can I teach those little minds

So eager now to learn

The wonders of God’s blessings

This is my hearts concern

I watch them grow from day to day

They seldom seem to tire

The playground is a special place

If only for an hour

I’ve grown to love my little ones

They’re special now to me

Yet when their family comes around

That’s special just to see

And so I serve my Lord through them

I give myself away

O Lord help me to be my best

Yes, this is what I pray.
