Poem John, the Apostle (The gospel, the revelation) The question of the ages, Of men of great renoun; Could give so much to mankind How could such truths abound? For he was just a fisherman On the sea of Galilee; Until he met the Master God’s Champion so to be. With love and comprehension Of God’s eternal plan; "The beginning" and "the ending" God clothed "incarnate" man! "In the beginning was the Word" That gave creation’s story; "The Alpha and the Omega" God’s final, redemption’s Glory! |
