Poem God’s Creation Life’s Foundation There has to be a structure, by which a house is built; And just a simple pattern: the sewing of a quilt; There has to be a foundation, on which to build a life; Or man will faultier by the way, engulfed in sin and strife. When Darwin viewed the sameness in all living and the dead "As if there were a Creator" Yea, that is what he said: "But that would not be science" he went on to say; As though the "god" called science, the order of the day. There has to be an absolute, on which we stand the test, Or is it just an abstract,,on which his faith must rest? When science became the "god" of man, evolution took the day We lost that human dignity. and what a price to pay. Sunk deep within the mother earth, from which a tree must grow There must be an authority, by which we see and know; The Bible is the Work of life, it tells us whence we came And guides us on our journey, And there we bear no shame! |
