Poem Life!,Time? It’s said: "Life is short," Like the "Passing of time;" It’s all in an attitude, As though it were mime. A day is an eternity, When sorrow abounds; But only a moment, When true love is found; Time then is relative, Just as a point of view; A day may mean nothing, If nothing is due. Life is not measured, With days, months and years; But true life is measured, In blood, sweat and tears. Life is as involvement, Where the "water-hits-the-wheel;" To serve is a privilege, If we only will. God will not reward us, For how long we serve; But only for faithfulness, And that’s all we deserve. It’s by grace, our salvation; By God’s mercy and love. And the bountiful blessings, That awaits us above! |
