Poem In The Heart Of God In the heart of God, Even before His creation, He purposed in Christ Jesus, To become our salvation. In the sacrificial lambs, In the "covenant" of old, Jesus suffered for our sin, In the Bible we’re told. We may have wondered, Why God loved us so, So sinful, unloving, And undeserving, you know. Yet, in heaven’s councils, And in His eternal plan; Clothed in human flesh, He became a lowly man. God’s love has no endings, No price was too great; "Take my yoke, it is easy" Before it’s too late! new from all eternity, That He’d die upon a tree. So He clothed Himself in human |
