Poem Beyond The Veil Who has not thought of death, Life’s greatest mystery, And with solemnity said, "What is to be will be?" But is this all there is, To life: finality; Is there not more than this, Oh, eternity? Beyond that veil called death, Where darkness blinds the way, Is there not hope and faith, So, expectedly? If man can only hope, Then can he not in faith Cope, and wait, Not hopelessly? Can love and sacrifice, Shared in life’s toils and pain, Not look beyond the veil, And hope to live again? |
