Poem FRIENDS We used to love to talk about the things we planned to do, When we were young and having fun and I'd go home with you. Then we would run and laugh and play and never seem to tire; The day would pass so swiftly by, no matter what the hour. But time passed on and we grew up, our families grew apart; And year by year I thought of you for you were in my heart. And now the years have come and gone; how time has passed us by; The memories that I hold of you, I will not let them die. |
