Poem CHILDREN Children playing in the sunshine, Or just running in the rain; Makes the dark days seem much brighter, Helps the weary bear their pain. Children's laughter in the nighttime, Drives the sadness far away; Though we're tired from all our labors, It's a joy to watch then play. Children celebrates their birthdays, Like a special holiday; For they're trusting in they're future, And the one to whom they pray. Jesus called the little children, And He held them in His care; And he looked to His disciples, As to say: "Way do you fear?" So the days seem so much brighter, When there's children all around; For their love is so unselfish, The like of which cannot be found. Pure and tender are their feelings, And their touch seems so divine; And the "grand" ones are so precious, I'm so proud to call them mine!. |
