Poem Age and Attitude How old would I be if I didn't know, And no one could tell me my age; How old would I be, according to me, And what would I use for a gage? Is time the thing to measure life by, Or the passing of the years; Is there not something more precious than time, The toils, the heart-aches, the tears? How old would I be if I did not know, How old would I according to me? I'll gage my life by my attitude, With so much to do, and so much to see! |
