| About Me | ||||||||||
| My name is Sara and I was born on July 18th, 1986 (you can do the math lol). I am very shy and quiet. My Musical intrests are mostly hard rock, alternative, punk/indie, and some classic rock. Some of my favorite bands are System Of A Down, Tool, Incubus, Godsmack, Puddle Of Mudd, KoRn, Led Zeppelin, Sublime, Nirvana, and RX Bandits. I love going to concerts. I enjoy the outdoors like camping, fishing, star gazing, roller blading, swimming, bike riding, and anything else outdoors lol. In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, playing guitar, singing, writing, hanging out with friends and going places. I love to drive around, either being a passenger in a car or driving myself. I love to travel and see different places. I live with my mom (Joan), I have a brother named Steve, and I have a boyfriend, AJ who is so sweet and awesome. I have four pets - a dog named Peanut and three guinea pigs named Henry, Rooney, and Chalupa. Henry is black and white and looks like a giant Oreo and Rooney... well... Rooney has big eyebrows like the guy Andy Rooney on 60 Minutes hehehe. Chalupa is named "Chalupa" to honor AJ :-) He always calls my guinea pigs "chalupas" because he has a hard time remembering that they are called guinea pigs (he's so cute!). Chalupa came from Ohio! A girl there rescued about 70 guinea pigs from a barn in Marietta, Ohio. The person who had all of these pigs could not keep them anymore and care for them like they need to be. She and a few other girls organized a "Piggy Train". The piggy train involved a girl from Cleveland, Ohio to drive down to Athens, Ohio and get a few guinea pigs to be driven to someone else. Chalupa was then transported to Rochester, NY from Cleveland. Then my mom and I drove up one weekend to Syracuse where we stayed over night in a hotel to meet the girl from Rochester to get Chalupa. The girl from Rochester offered to drive to Syracuse so we wouldn't have to drive another hour out of our way to get him. She was really nice. As soon as we got Chalupa, we drove 5.5 hours home! I'll bet Chalupa will be very happy to not have to ever go in a car again! I worked at a horseback riding camp over the 2001 - 2002 summers where I taught young children how to ride horses and care for them. I love working with children, animals, and I pretty much like everything to do with computers and electronics. I use to work at a web designing company called TJD Web Design (which merged with the company The Cybernet Place) where I laid webpages out, edited text, and inputted data. The Cybernet Place offers web page design/ hosting and pretty much anything you'd ever want to do with computers. I loved working there. I was laid off on Tuesday, April 20, 2004. They said "After today, we won't need you anymore. It's nothing against you, we're just in a financial crisis." I was pretty sad, but relieved that the pressure of working wasn't going to exist for a while. Now I need a new job for the summer... Any ideas? I like making things (crafts), fixing things, and designing things. I love roller coasters, water parks, the beach, snowboarding, and I would love to go sky diving, swimming with dolphins, and hang gliding. |
