Wings Bow to Roadrunners 3-1

OAKS (AP) - Despite playing a hard fought game all night the Wings eventually succumbed to a third period rally and some questionable officiating, and fell to the Roadrunners 3-1 at Center Ice in Oaks.
The 1st period saw a barrage of questionable calls on the Wings, but despite giving up 5 times as many shots in the period, the Wings trailed just 1-0 thanks to the stellar goaltending of Dave Gray.
The Wings knotted the game at 1 in the 2nd period, when Alex Deveraux scored his second goal of the season off a feed from Mark Hourican. However, they couldnt hold the lead as the Roadrunners added a pair of 3rd period goals from their top line to seal their fate. Goalie Dave Gray stopped 28 of 31 shots in the loss.
