Wings Win Season Opener 3-2
Sunday October 17, 2004

WARRINGTON (AP) - The new look Wings opened the 2004-2005 season with a 3-2 win over the defending B-Division champion Stars.  The victory ended an 0-5-1 streak against the Stars over the past 2 seasons.
Mark Hourican scored 2 goals including the game winner at 7:59 of the 3rd period on a nice feed from Mark Mimmo. Tim Reilly also scored in his first game as a Wing.  The win was supported by a strong defensive effort led by Mark Mimmo and newcomer Jamie OrrDave Gray made a number of outstanding saves as he stopped 18 out of 20 shots.  A missed call by the ref aided the Stars as they were awarded a phantom goal that actually hit the post and did not go into the net.

The Wings will look to continue their winning ways on Saturday 10/23 vs. Wharton B1 at UPenn at 9:45pm.
