I am presenting Product: Optical Box. Actually this is designed for me. I
have lost around 3 to 5 glasses. It is because I will put my box somewhere
and forgot that one and also I found that glass need some holder that can
hold firmly. So I designed this one. I have done only 2 modifications. One
is Belt strap which can holds the glass when we close the box. And another
one is Address Card adder. You can insert yours address card in slot
provided.
In this product, I have used LIVING HINGE. A "living hinge" is a very thin portion of plastic that bridges two heavy walls and that provides the ability to flex repeatedly without the use of a mechanical hinge. Living hinge made from polypropylene or polyethylene can flex a million cycles without failure. Pro/Engineer's spinal bend feature works well for living hinge design because it allows you to model the hinge in one position but also "bend" into another. In Next picture Green color part which bridges two covers is Living hinge. |
