HISTORY: Her father is an Englishman, a doctor, who immigrated to America and met and married a Native American shaman’s daughter. Her father sided with the revolutionary and fought with them. He settled with his family in Boston. Hera was their only child. She learned surgery at her father's side and traditional healing with her mothers' people. After her parent’s deaths when she was 16, Hera lived in England with her father’s family. Hera found little acceptance for her mixed heritage and her healing skills among the family. She has been married and has had a child. She eventually ran away and has been working as the surgeon on The Monstrous for some time.

PERSONALITY: In Greek mythology Hera was the Queen of the gods. She was the goddess of women. Our Hera is strong; physically, mentally and spiritually. She is not particularly serene but tries hard. She loves to laugh and has a bit of a temper. She does get frustrated sometimes with men’s inability to see women as capable and intelligent.
