Her uniform is spotless and always immaculate; has a tiny, corseted waist emphasising her height and demeanour; corsets seeming not to hinder Elaine in the least stressing her commanding appearance especially in her officer's attire (tailored to enhance her silhouette to the utmost).. She cuts a striking picture - beautiful yet terrifying.

Background: Working in her father's 'business enterprises' having served aboard several slave ships with cruel and precise efficiency - feared by crew and captive alike, her beauty and cool charm have dazzled many an upper-echelon naval fop too dumbstruck to use their brain and look beneath the surface...OF course, her record is exemplary - she being one of those types able to cover her evildoing or provoke less confident colleagues to keep their mouths shut out of fear - prays on the weak; in modern terms, she's an out and out sociopathic manipulator grooming relationships with those who may serve her purposes and crushing those who don't - or who've outlived their use-by date. At first, charming to a fault, Capt. and officers find it difficult to resist her spell (Judith even questioning her own judgement after fairly quickly developing a strong dislike of the lieutenant - at first being completely unable to put a finger on it...it doesn't take long though. Nonetheless, Miss Harvey has not counted upon a ship full of women having very different relationship dynamics to that of mostly male-crewed vessels...these differences spelling her end; thankfully before any lasting damage has been inflicted upon some of the more vulnerable girls aboard Monstrous. Hammond's plan scuttled, this crew and captain can at last truly spread their wings.
