HISTORY: Cecily hails from Essex, where she’s lived a fairly uneventful life. Her father and uncles are currently serving in His Majesty’s Navy and from an early age, she’s grown up wanting to do the same. Now, having a brand new commission, she’s set out to achieve all sorts of lofty goals for herself, including becoming the youngest Admiral ever, though she’s quite a long way to go from things she’s read in books to actually doing those things and working with a crew, and this is her very first ship so it looks to be a real learning experience.

PERSONALITY:
Cecily tends to be a bit...bossy and overbearing, and is definitely plenty LOUD when she needs to be. She is intelligent and has a good eye for detail, mostly because she likes to get everything perfectly right the first time she does it, and expects for others to do the same.

When others do not meet her expectations she has been known to snap at them, though she's never acted 'out of order' in her life and is unlikely to snap at a superior officer unless she really thinks something is out of order and it is a matter of life and death. Her fellow Midshipmen might have to bear the brunt of her obnoxious personality however and I pity anyone who might be playing something other than an officer or junior officer, she's got a bit of the martinet in her and while she always means well, it’s sometimes difficult for her to realize how her overzealousness is affecting other people.

It's overzealousness that brought Cecily on the voyage; however, she has a real enthusiasm for sailing and the sea, and its plain to see that she enjoys almost every moment of being onboard, even when she's snapping at someone. In order to be successful later on, she's going to need to learn to control herself a good deal more, I imagine she'll land herself in trouble at some point or another due to the problems in her personality, and actually look forward to writing that so that I may see her grow as a character, and I am certain she will learn from the boys when they meet up eventually.

When it comes down to it, Cecily has a lot to learn and a lot of changes she'll have to make before being ready to be an excellent officer but she has the right instincts, a lot of knowledge and once someone has earned her esteem they are in it for life and she will do her best to protect them.

Cecily is TINY, measuring in around five feet one, and is in terms of appearances, what one might call 'cute'. She has a somewhat mischievous LOOK, which is at odds with her rather obnoxious, stickler for rules personality and it is quite rare to see her smile. She has blue eyes and her blond hair is cut to a bit above her shoulders.
