Power Point Instructions
Power Point Instructions

Do not begin your PowerPoint presentation until you have completely finished your research notes.

1. Double click on the Powerpoint Icon to open the program
2. Click on "Blank Presentation" then click OK
3. Choose your layout then click OK. Hint: The layout with just 2 large lines is probably good for your title slide.
4. Type your title in the Click to Add Title box, then type your name in the Click to Add Subtitle box.
5. Right click on the white space of the slide, then click on Apply Design Template. Choose a Design Template that you like, then click Apply.
6. Click on Insert, then New Slide. Choose a layout, then click OK. Hint: The layout with 1 large line, 3 bullet points & a picture is good for the rest of your slides
7. In the Title box, type your first question.
8. In the box with bullets, type the facts you have found, relating to that question.
9. To add Clipart, double click on the icon of the man. In the Search for Clips box, type a clue word for the kind of picture you are looking for, like Mexico or Mexican.

Repeat steps 6-9 with the rest of your slides and research questions. Some questions may use more than one slide to answer. If that is the case, just re-type your research question on the title of the next slide.
When finished, call me over, so you can save your presentation to a disk.

Your presentation must contain the following elements:
___ Answers to each question on your chosen topic (50 points)
___ A background (10 points)
___ Clipart pictures or saved photos(20 points)
___ References (giving credit to the sites where you found your information) (20 points)
