Hanson Biography
Okay... first off... Isaac, Taylor, and Zac are brothers. Duh. Ike was born first on November 17, 1980. Three years after Ike came Taylor on March 14, 1983. And proceeding Taylor by two years was Zac on October 22, 1985. They were the three oldest children to Walker and Diana Hanson. Their were really big on music too so naturally, the love for song was in their blood. As the family grew with four more children (Jessica, Avery, Mackenzie, and Zoe) so did the boys love for music. As kids, their father's job needed to relocate the family in South America. The boys brought along old music that was made before their time. They grew accustomed to the style which is probably why alot of their music relates to more of an early rock style. They just started playing around with music and at early ages were already writing and singing songs. Next came the instruments. All three of them can play an assortment of instruments but we know Isaac to play the guitar, Taylor to be behind the keyboard or piano, and Zac to be beating the drums. Soon Hanson's talent brought them to the decision of becoming stars. After a long, complicated, and very tedius process, Hanson was able to sign with Mercury records who had turned them down before. They were able to snag a manager, Chris Sabec, as well. Hanson left their hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma to record their first album. Ike was 16, Taylor 14, and Zac 10. While most teenagers were getting ready for their junior prom, Ike was writing the music that would grace the occaison. While kids Taylor's age were worrying about high school, Taylor was worrying about the nations opinion of their album. While most ten year olds spent their afternoons in the mud or crashing on their bikes, Zac was doing the same... with the added stress of being a careless pre-teen who was going to have the life of a star. Everyone fell in love with Hanson. Their hit single 'MMMBop' rose to the top of the charts and was stuck in everyone's head. As the years passed, Hanson kept shelling out more albums. Following 'Middle of Nowhere' came '3 Car Garage' a collection of independant recordings, 'Snowed In' a Christmas compilation, 'Live From Albertane' their first live album, 'This Time Around' their latest album and a collection of exclusive CD's and singles. Now Hanson fans are awaiting the release of their newest and much anticipated album which still goes without a name. Hanson has a life of music and they always will.
