When I came into the military with my husband, I had a bad outlook on it all. I felt like we were always getting shafted, and that he had joined for no reason. Since then we have made our family, and he has missed the first six months of his daughter's life. It was not until he was deployed that I had a keen sense of what a military family was or is suppose to be.
Now I know that we are all family. No matter what branch of service they may be in, we are still family, and in this family we need more support.
