January 14, 2007: Post-hiatus, not Posthumous: Over the past few years that we've been together, we've seen more great local bands than we'd care to admit throw in the towel and call it a day. Heck, a lot of the band that we have had the privilege to share the stage with in the last couple years don't seem to exist anymore or have at least stopped maintaining their websites. The fact is, usually when there is radio silence from a local band for the better part of a year; it generally means they've called it quits. Well, not SDR. We've been on an extended hiatus for much of 2006, but our commitment to our craft has remained as strong as ever, and we are happy to return to doing what we love: stronger, more focused, and hungrier than ever! What we're trying to say is, we'd like to announce that SDR has officially ended their self-imposed hiatus!!! Although we are not discussing the details behind our hiatus, we can assure you that a lot of work was done "behind the scenes" to ensure that we will be able to sustain an active gigging schedule, future recording projects, and some regional touring; in order to bring our music back to all the fans and friends that we have made through our past efforts, as well as converting legions of new ones. Be sure to check out our gigs page, as we already have two new shows listed (including a rare glimpse at SDR's softer "Acoustique" side) and are feverishly working to add many more in the near future. To everyone that has enjoyed our music in the past and wondered what the hell happened to us, we'd like to thank you for your patience and we hope to see you at the show!!!

June 4, 2006: Ugh, I've let this site fall into neglect and disrepair. Being on hiatus will that to a person. Yeah, we're still on hiatus. Probably won't be hitting any stages until late summer or early fall. Longer than we expected to be out of action, but well worth it as far as getting a lot of writing accomplished and learned to re-integrate band life with the newfound added personal responsibilities some of us are currently undertaking. Nonetheless, we have managed to make some tangible accomplishments on our break in the form of brand spanking new recordings available on our myspace page. So go over there and check 'em out, you can even download them so you can rock them on your iPod or whatever you're into. We are sure you'll enjoy these new songs. They're are vastly superior in terms of recording quality and musicianship to anything we've put out in the past and they give a very good indication of where we are headed in the future. Well, enough rambling for now. This blurb is starting to turn into a book. Go check out the new songs and enjoy. Once we're ready to get back on stage, you'll be the first to know. We promise...

October 15, 2005: Well, we're back up and running again. We had some trouble with our host and the site was down for a while. A few weeks ago, they inexplicably cancelled our account and we were never able to get an answer as to why. Apparently, they didn't want any more of our money, which was really convenient, because we really had no desire to pay them anymore. Anyways, have hooked up with a new host and the site is back online. Be sure to check out the updated photo section. It has new pics from our recent show at the historic 7th Street Entry!

July 2, 2005: Seven Days Remain has been picked to play in the Van's Warped Tour Battle of the Bands!!! The battles will be held at Star Central in Columbia Heights, MN. We don't have a date yet, but we should know soon. We hope that you will come out and show your support!!!

March 5, 2005: Updates, Updates, Updates!!! Just finished a major update to the photo section. We've added pics from the Urban Wildlife Club show, the Stripped Down show, and the Area 52 show. We've also added photographer credits (to the best of our recollection) on all the shows in the gallery as a way to say "Thank You!" to all the wonderful folks that have given us their pics. If anyone has any SDR photos, please contact us. We'd love to put them up on the site!

October 16, 2004: "ECLIPSE" IS HERE!!! After many months of recording, re-working, mixing, designing, plotting, planning, waiting, and stressing, SDR's debut album finally saw the light of day at our October 4th show. Response has been great so far and we are pleased to bring it to you. Currently, there are two ways to get your hands on the album: either get it at a show or contact us. We will have more info on the album in the media section shortly.

August 27, 2004: Congratulations and best wishes to Donny Harvey and Anna Hellerud, who were married on Saturday, August 21st. The ceremony took place on the North Shore of Lake Superior, at the mouth of the Temperance River. Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Harvey!!!

August 11, 2004: New mp3's up on purevolume.com. Go to the media section to hear "Still Reaching," "1000 Smiles," and "Burden" from the soon-to-be recently released album "Eclipse."

May 14, 2004: Argh! Sorry about the lack of updates to the site. I just finished a major update to the photo section, as well as a few tweaks to other areas of the site. I hope you enjoy! In other news, the long-awaited and eagerly-anticipated SDR album, "Eclipse," is currently being mastered. I know I've been saying it will be done "soon" for a while now, but this time I'm serious. We are anticipating a late-June or early-July release for the album. Stay tuned.

February 13, 2004: We will be going back into the studio in the next couple weeks to finish mixing our album. If all goes well, we hope to have it wrapped and ready for release by mid to late March. Sign up for the SDR e-mailinglist and we'll make sure that you are the first ones to know when its finally finished.

January 23rd, 2004: Thanks to all of you that made the trek out to Dibbo's in Hudson, WI to check out our show with Fastest Turbo Fire Engine last night. We had a great time at our first out of state show and we look forward to playing out there again real soon.

January 18th, 2004: Welcome to sevendaysremain.com: The Online Home of SDR. Happy New Year and welcome to our new site, which will be making its debut early in 2004.
