My sister Kaycee (KC) is well...She is one of a kind. She has three children. The oldest I am raising. A family friend who my sister considers her "Godmother" is raising the younger two. One of the fathers isn't sure the kid is his, another has eight other children and pays no child support for any of them and the last one is a drug dealer who was 19 years old at the time the kid was born. (KC was 23)
KC now 25 years old gets welfare for all three children though none of them actually lives with her. She didn't complete high school. She hasn't worked for longer than two weeks at a time in any of the past three jobs she's had in the last three years. She lives in a house owned by the "Godmother" for FREE. She sees her two younger children maybe a total of 24 hours in a week's time unless the Godmother needs a break and she has them for the weekend. (How unfortunate for the kids)
KC is a Jerry's Kid. Her life is like a Jerry Springer episode. She sleeps with whomever she wants, whenever she wants, takes whatever she wants from your home...in a word - USELESS. KC is also not the sharpest tool in the shed, unless she's conning you out of something.

8/22 Well, KC is back home now. After worrying our mother so much that the woman who is raising her younger children bought her a bus ticket home. Mom wired her enough money to eat with much to the upset of my father! KC couldn't care less about that. Of course after a call to the mother of the boyfriend up in NY..we found that she was up to her old tricks....they couldn't get her up in the morning and she wouldn't let the boyfriend out of her sight. The mother says it seemed KC preferred him to stay up under her at all times. So far the mother is batting a thousand on KC's M.O. It seems KC was only trying to get some money but reactions at home foiled her plans...she ended up with a bus ticket home. Her Godmother has paid her utilities and she doing well as usual. |

8/3 KC called from New York. She went up there with this new guy she's seeing (she's known him a month). She apparently doesn't know where she is and has no money. The boyfriend apparently won't tell her where she is and hasn't fed her and the only thing near the house they are in (which she claims has no electricity or water) is a pay phone and a western union....Blah, blah, blah! Say no more. The only thing she can recognize is a d*mn Western Union? What turnip truck does she think we all fell from? Well after many calls to a relative in a nearby state, "Yes", she admits "I just need some money."
Mom asks her "Didn't you leave without money?"
"Yes she says."
"Okay then...why would we give you money after you lied first off and secondly, didn't you get a check at the first of the month?"
In the end, the relative feels sorry for her and is going to send her some money because they are headed back this weekend and she'll need some money to get herself something to eat. WHAT! Another point for Jerry's star pupil! |
