HLI Experience:

I feel like I will make a difference in students that are involved in HLI, because I am helping them to prepare for their future. Some of the students do not even know what a difference this program will have on their lives compared to others who do not have the same opportunity.

Advice/Life Philosophy:

My advice to the students, which I really had to abide by while in school, is KEEP GOD FIRST AND EVERYTHING ELSE WILL FIND IT’S WAY. Your trials will come just lean on HIS everlasting arm.

 I have been a mentor since 2004, and  I have been  so impressed by how

mature and eager the students are to learn. It has let me know there is still hope for a bright future for our kids.
