| Us Guides are an active lot! Here are just a few of the things we have gotten up to over the last year: February: Thinking Day We all tried to come as Italian Guides to Tetney village hall, taking along Italian cuisine with us. Other Guides sampled ours, and we sampled food from exotic destinations such as India, Austalia and China. April: Brownie Revels This year with a circus theme, we took part in a treasure hunt, painted faces, learnt to spin plates and how to juggle! May:Flower Festival This was the first year we have entered the festival, and as the theme was proverbs our display was "As Mad As A Hatter". June:Karaoke We sang our hearts out to Karaoke classics such as Its raining Men and the Vengaboys. We had great fun at Our usual meeting place and North Thoresby and Tetney Guides came along. July:Pampering Night Two of the Guides planned this enjoyable last meeting of the year, with face masks, hot chocolate and other goodies, everyone went home feeling like a princess! August:Summer Holiday! September:Body Shop Party A lady from the Body Shop came in and Gave one of our Guides a makeover and showed and sold lots of lovely Body Shop products! October:Bowling We all went to the Bowling alley in Cleethorpes and had a great meeting where everyone was kept amused by everyone else's bad luck! December:Flower Party A lady from a nearby flower shop came in with lots of beautiful Christmas related diplays of flowers, as well as lots of other goodies. Christmas Fair We had a Christmas fair to replace our usual meeting, and fun was had by all. |
