In the second stage, the artist used wire and packaging tape to build shelters ˇV an important issue in Hong Kong, hoping to reflect some imagined prehistoric accommodations.

Housing has always been closely knitted with Hong Kong people. Some love it and some hate it. Some have become rich and some committed suicide.? Housing has become so dominant in oneˇ¦s life that it has got a grip on oneˇ¦s future.

Hong Kong people always have these mystical feelings about their housing. The shelters series hope to reflect some kinds of accommodations from the pre-historic time, hopefully they will let people rethink the relationship of housing and themselves!

In the project, the artist has tried to use un-advanced technology, unsophisticated skills and materials from the industry to create works. These fragile works shifted viewersˇ¦ attention to the high technology of building houses. The modern ways of building can bring us a more secure living space, but it also burdens us financially and trapped us into four-walls.
