* (2026/03/18) The famous cinematographer and director Venus Keung Kwok 
Man has been in the industry for 42 years, has been a cinematographer 
for SEVEN SWORDS (CHUT GIM), ONE NITE IN MONGKOK (WONG GOK HAK YEH) and 
DOUBLE TAP (CHEUNG WONG), has been nominated for the Hong Kong Film 
Awards and Golden Horse Awards, and directed BULLET AND BRAIN (SUN 
CHEUNG SAU YU JI DOR SING) and TREASURE HUNT (MO GAN JI BO), etc.  He 
yesterday at the Hong Kong International Film and Television Market 
(Filmart) announced the creation of Hong Kong's first XR "6D immersive 
experience" film HARBOR DREAMS: HONG KONG XR ADVENTURE with a duration 
of 20 minutes, combining innovative technology and Hong Kong's 
multiculturalism, saying that it subverts the traditional movie viewing 
concept, allowing the audience to experience the sight, fragrance, touch 
and add game interaction, the production cost is about four to five 
million, and it takes 4 to 6 months.
	Audiences would need to wear monitors to enjoy XR movies, and 
Keung Kwok Man said that he would simultaneously prepare to open 
experience halls in various parts of China and abroad to connect movie 
screenings, each accommodating 6 viewers, requiring hundreds of 
thousands of computers, head-mounted monitors and vibrating tablet 
equipment; another plan would be to negotiate with traditional cinemas 
to set up XR movie experience stores, "Everyone can spend 20 minutes in 
the experience hall to experience XR movies before watching big movies, 
and have different enjoyments."
	Starting in film, Keung Kwok Man's first XR movie production 
would have content, picture and quality according to film standards.  
He admitted that the cost would be relatively higher.  "I started 
developing XR movies more than two years ago.  Last year when I 
participated in the Mainland Golden Rooster Awards, I noticed this 
track.  This year I have confirmed to make two XR movie, hoping to 
compete for related awards."  AI technology invading the film world has 
become a hot debate in Hollywood, threatening all professionals' 
livelihood.  Keung Kwok Man said that he would regard XR movies as one 
of the projects in the film industry, although he joins AI technology, 
he still needs the help of talents in various positions of film 
production, believing that it will not destroy the ecology of the film 
and television industry, but to give everyone an extra way out; and 
educate the audience to watch various films from different angles, which 
is the real film development.  "AI is a general trend, AI films are just 
generated by human instructions.  Many films are exactly the same, the 
value of filmmakers lies in their thinking and creation.  I have been 
making films for decades and have not been afraid, and generations are 
getting more and more advanced, from film to the digital age, everyone 
just follows the steps.  Are we going to destroy AI?  There are long and 
short film and television productions, all kinds of things, each has its 
own market, the market is very large, no one kills whom, but everyone 
takes what they need, some people want to watch AI movies and have to 
supply, if you want to watch actors acting, you can continue to watch 
big movies."
	Keung Kwok Man said that XR movies also need to use real scenery 
and virtual images.  In addition to technicians and engineers, they also 
photographers, directors, screenwriters, producers, voice actors and 
post-dimming, etc., even if it is an action scene, it requires a martial 
artist to design the action, of course, without a large number of 
manpower, "I have not abandoned traditional film talents.  This industry 
has raised me, I want to help the industry and be the trailblazer in

he was in negotiation for actors to participate in the virtual

released one by one in recent years, among which BACK TO THE PAST (CHUM 
CHUN GEI) has recorded nearly HK$ 100 million at the box office with 
remarkable results!  Having made countless films, Louis Koo Tin Lok (Goo 
Jai) turned out to still have many starring movies waiting to be 
"resurrected", including THE DREAM, THE BUBBLE AND THE SHADOW (SHUI BIN 
JAU LIU DAI FUT), TRIER OF FACT (SAU KYUT JEH), MASTERMIND (JING JIN) 
and UNDER CONTROL (YUT SIN SUN GEI).  Goo Jai could definitely be named 
the "King of Legends"!  Reportedly MASTERMIND would be scheduled to be 
released this year, and a pilot poster would be launched at the film and 
television exhibition held yesterday.
	Films such as BACK TO THE PAST and SONS OF THE NEON NIGHT (FUNG 
LUM FOR SHAN) were once known as Hong Kong's "urban legends".  They have 
been released successively, and have received many nominations at the 
Hong Kong Film Awards this year.  Actually Hong Kong and mainland film 
circles still had many "urban legends", among which Koo Tin Lok, a 
prolific actor in the industry, has many starring works that are still 
"waiting to be screened", including the Wilson Yip Wai Shun directed THE 
DREAM, THE BUBBLE AND THE SHADOW, UNDER CONTROL that also starred 
Jessica Hester Hsuan (Suen Huen) and Louis Cheung Kai Chung, and TRIER 
OF FACT that starred Eddie Peng Yu-Yan, Philip Keung Ho Man, Chrissie 
Chau Sau Na and guest starred Raymong Lam Fung, and the Gardner Tse Kwan 
Ho, Emily Lo Wai Man starred MASTERMIND.  Among them UNDER CONTROL 
already wrapped production in 2021 but waited for 5 years still without 
any release update.  It would likely challenge PAST's "waiting for over 
6 years to be released" record.
	"Hong Kong Entertainment Expo 2026" was unveiled yesterday, Goo 
Jai, Chin Kar Lok, Crescendo Hung Cho Sing and Raymond Wong Pak Ming 
appeared.  Goo Jai was not interviewed, and his film company did not 
make a large-scale promotional offensive at this year's Film and 
Television Market (Filmart).  However the film he starred in MASTERMIND 
(JING JIN) is expected to be released this year, and has also launched a 
pilot poster.  The film company that invested in the film has placed the 
poster in a prominent place in the booth, hoping to attract film buyers 
from all over the world and help the film open up overseas markets.
	Before the release of BACK TO THE PAST, many online often 
asked from time to time when it would be released.  After its launch at 
the end of last year, it won word of mouth and box office by a mile, and 
at this year's Lunar New Year even launched an extended version.  Now 
its box office in Hong Kong is approaching HK$ 100 million.   After 
BACK, the Goo Jai film the internet was the most concerned about had to 
be THE DREAM, THE BUBBLE AND THE SHADOW.  The IP MAN film series 
director Wilson Yip Wai Shun directed the film.  The two collaborated 
again after PARADOX (SAT POR LONG: TAM LONG), and many viewers have 
looked forward to it.  The film once released its teaser in 2023 but 
has never had an official release date unfortunately.  Earlier Goo Jai 
was asked when THE DREAM, THE BUBBLE AND THE SHADOW would be released, 
and he could not help but personally solve the mystery of its lack of 
release.  He stated that the release was not the decision of him alone, 
but required many factors to coordinate.  
	However, the "covered in dust" for the longest in "legend" 
series must be the Tsui Hark directed 3D movie CATCH THE MONKEY (JAU 
HAU), which started filming in 2010 and starred Charlie Yeung Choi Nei, 
Yu Nan and Chen Xiaodong.  It was a crime suspense movie, and has been 
said to be a remake of the Tsui Hark produced, Brigitte Lin (Lam Ching 
Ha), Joey Wong Cho Yin and Elizabeth Lee Mei Fung starred WEB OF 
DECEPTION (GAING WON GEI).  Charlie even deliberately lost weight and 
got a tan for the film.  When she was interviewed she even joked that 
she made CATCH in hopes of picking up some tricks for her directing 
debut CHRISTMAS ROSE (SING DAN MUI GWAI).  Unexpectedly, now CHRISTMAS 
ROSE has been released for 13 years but CATCH remained sunken at sea.   
Charlie has also gone from being single at the time of filming to now 
being a mother.  Active on social platforms in recent years, she would 
often shared life highlight.  Earlier she shared photos of enjoying the 
movie NIGHT KING (YEH WONG), saying that the film evoked a lot of 
memories for her, including Leslie Cheung Kwong Wing's invitation to 
watch the premiere of THE BRIDE WITH WHITE HAIR (BAK FAT MOR NUI JUEN), 
as well as past filming tidbits.  She said, "I am used to watching all 
of the credits before leaving.  This movie has brought back too many 
memories......I really miss the days when I started working on the set 
with everyone."  Many fans have asked her to "make a comeback" to 
filming as soon as possible, and some online have also praised her for 
taking good care of herself and definitely had the conditions to fight 
in the film industry again.
 
* (2026/03/18) The prequel to the COLD WAR (HONG JIN) film series COLD 
WAR 1994 (HONG JIN 1994), starring handsome men Daniel Wu (Ng Yin Cho) 
and Terrance Lau Chun Him, has attracted attention since its low-key 
start last year.  The film's cast and crew would appear today at the 
Film and Television Market (Filmart) to promote the movie for the first 
time and preview the release date.  Reportedly, this story would focus 
on a kidnapping case of a wealthy man before Hong Kong's handover, 
which caused financial turmoil; and the law enforcement agencies were 
torn apart due to power struggles.  The soul character would traverse 
between the mob, the business world and the colonial government, as the 
operation codenamed "Cold War" was about to be launched.  Reportedly the 
film would be scheduled for release on October 1st, and the extension 
work COLD WAR 1995 would be scheduled for release next year.  Although 
many fans have been looking forward to the return of Aaron Kwok and Tony  
Leung Ka Fai, according to the story timeline the two would not appear 
in the movie.  As for Taiwan star Wu Kang-ren, his role was average 
and has been said to "level down" to  supporting role.

* (2026/03/18) Mei Ah Entertainment announced key new films in 2026, 
covering a variety of subjects such as family, technology, female growth 
and action suspense, among which SEE YOU MY DEAR (NUI YI 2), BIRD OF 
PARADISE (MA YEUNG NIN WA) and MASTERMIND (JING JIN) are all highly 
anticipated.
	Jointly produced by Mei Ah Entertainment, Bingo Group, Sil-
Metropole Organization and Umo Studio, the Lau Ho Leung produced, new 
director Jason Lee Tung Yuk directed SEE YOU MY DEAR would gather Asian 
male god Chen Bolin, Hong Kong Film Awards Best Actress Jennifer Yu 
Heung Ying and child star Hathy Law Hei Yi, as well as the Hong Kong 
Film Award winner Tai Bo, Albert Cheung Mo Hau and other good actors to 
help.  Wing Shya (Ha Wing Hong) would serve as the art director and in 
charge of the preview poster, and the Hong Kong Film Award-level 
screenwriters Frankie Tam Kwong Yuen and Ashley Cheung Yin Kei would 
write.
	The story would be about a couple after experiencing family 
trauma.  The husband tries to "replace" their lost daughter with AI, 
triggering a conflict between reality and illusion and exploring the 
cowardice of human nature and the value of emotions.  The trailer 
released yesterday features a near-dialogue-free design to create strong 
emotional tension.  Director Lee Tung Yuk said, "In an era of 
technological anxiety, we try to use the mirror of AI to think about 
whether artificial intelligence brings people closer or blurs the 
boundaries of human nature.  Through the life and death of relatives and 
the obsession with replacing it with technology, the film brings out the 
cowardly side of human nature - but it is this cowardice that reflects 
the most precious and unique essence of human emotions."
	After watching the trailer, Yu Heung Ying was deeply moved as 
she recalled the warmth of the family during filming, the happy scene of 
interacting with the "daughter" and at the same time evoking the grief 
of losing the "daughter".  Particularly memorable for her was the 
trailer's only dialogue: "When I interpreted that dialogue, I actually 
had a bit of accusation and heartache.  Because my daughter has become a 
robot, my husband is addicted to illusions, I love them deeply, but I 
want to remind my husband what is real."
	The film BIRD OF PARADISE and MASTERMIND would tightly follow 
in distribution.  Among them, the Saville Chan Sum Yiu produced, Wu Chui 
Yi directed and written, Catherine Chau Ka Yee, Elaine Jin (Kam Yin 
Ling), Peter Chan Charm Man, Yeung Nga Man and Cheung Dik Man starred 
BIRD OF PARADISE was a winner of the 7th First Feature Film Initiative 
High Education and Institution Group that would explore the women's 
subject of "mothers can have dreams too" with humorous and warm 
brushstrokes.  The police action movie MASTERMIND would be James Hung 
Ling Ching directed, with Simon Yam Tat Wa, Louis Koo Tin Lok (Goo Jai), 
and Ci Sha as the three heroes in confrontation and Gardner Tse Kwan Ho, 
Emily Lo Wai Man, Ben Yuen Fu Wah, Alan Yeung Wai Lun and others 
joining the cast.  The story would involve a murder in a secret room, 
integrating action and gun fight scenes to create intense and 
suspenseful atmosphere. 

* (2026/03/18) The Chinese language version of NIGHT MANAGER appeared 
at the Hong Kong International Film and Television Market (FILMART) and 
announced the all new line up.  This 12-episode spy war story adapted 
from John Le Carré's classic novel will be directed by Hong Kong Award 
Best New Director Chan Kin Long, star Eddie Peng Yuyan, Sean Lau Ching 
Wan, Isabella Leong Lok Sze and Carmen Lee Yeuk Tung, and will premiere 
on the mainland Youku platform at the end of 2026.  The global 
distribution will be handled by FIFTH SEASON, Character 7 and Demarest 
Films will oo-produce.
	The series was filmed in Hong Kong, Macau, Bangkok, Kanchanaburi 
and Phuket, creating a spy war feast across Asia.  The story would be 
about Chen Tong (Peng Yuyan), the night shift manager of a hotel in 
Bangkok, who is recruited by the Independent Commission Against 
Corruption (ICAC) investigator Fok Man Yee (Lee Yuek Tung) to infiltrate 
the undercover business empire of business tycoon Kwok Lai Yu (Lau 
Ching Wan), who is suspected of engaging in illegal arms trading, in an 
attempt to obtain core criminal evidence.  During the process he and 
Kwok Lai Yu's girlfriend Cheung Suet (Leong Lok Si) developed a 
complicated relationship and put the mission in danger.  Caught in the 
triple vortex of deception, morality and revenge, Chen Tong must face 
his past trauma and make difficult choices to change his destiny before 
completely losing himself.
	Michael Dao Tai Yu has joined the show as Kwok Lai Yu's uncle 
Kong Loi Fat.  Sharing the screen again with Lau Ching Wan after nearly 
35 years away, the show can be called "Hong Kong drama youth memory 
killing".  Malaysian actor Frederick Lee Ming Chung would play Kwok Lai 
Yu's right-hand man Lai Chi Keung; Hong Kong's new generation actors 
George Au Chun Ho would play his son Franco.  Emily Lo Wai Man would 
transform into the key character Ah Po, who has an unknown past with 
Chen Tong and becomes the soul of the plot twist.  The special 
appearance of Carl Ng Ka Lung as the shadow agent codenamed "Happy Joe", 
and the complex relationship between him and Chen Tong adds suspense to 
the series.  Alan Luk Chun Kwong, Chu Tin and Elizabeth Tang To would 
play the ICAC investigators under Lee Yuek Tung, and the strength of the 
new Hong Kong star should not be underestimated.

* (2026/03/18) Chin Kar Lok attended the launching ceremony of the Hong 
Kong Entertainment Expo yesterday and represented the Hong Kong Stuntmen 
Association to support it.  He said that fewer familiar investors and 
producers would be at this year's expo, but the number of friends from 
the mainland increased significantly. He believed that this was a trend 
that the industry must get accustomed to, and it was also a time for the 
Hong Kong film and television industry to transform.  It was also 
necessary to rely on the new generation of young people to undertake and 
keep pace with the times.  Kar Lok was also pleased to see that members 
in their early 30s received awards at the Spring Dinner of the 
Association, which not only expressed respect for their predecessors but 
also symbolized the importance of handing over the baton to the new 
generation.
	Regarding the movie "1941" to raise funds for the Association, 
Chin Kar Lok revealed that filming will start at the end of the year and

only be announced after agreeing.  He stated, "As a member of Hong Kong, 
this is also a good thing for the film and television industry."
	Chin Kar Lok pointed out that to be able to start filming the 
sequel to TWILIGHT OF THE WARRIORS: WALLED IN (GAU LUNG SING JAI) and 
announce a new movie at the same time were worthy of everyone to be 
happy about.  He believed that if only small productions would be left 
in Hong Kong, the market would be unhealthy.  Thus he agreed with 
what director Cheang Pou Soi said, film is an industry that cannot stand 
still with just one or two works.  It must continue to develop.  He 
added that he and Chan Tak Sumn have been making movies for 40 years, 
and his biggest wish was to reassure investors and do a good job in Hong 
Kong film brands.

* (2026/03/18) Radio Television Hong Kong held the first "Micro Short 
Drama Script Creation Competition" award ceremony at the 30th Hong 
Kong International Film and Television Market yesterday, with Director 
of Broadcasting Kwan Yuen-yee, screenwriter Cheung Fei Fan and Philip 
Ng Wan Lung as the award presenters.
	Ng Wan Lung said that micro-short dramas have become popular in 
recent years.  He has opened a production company, in addition to the 
main focus on filming movies, he has also started to plan and prepare 
for the filming of micro-short dramas.  They will also be action 
subjects.  He hoped to bring wonderful action scenes for the audience to 
watch.  Speaking of TWILIGHT OF THE WARRIORS: THE FINAL CHAPTER (GAU 
LUNG SING JAI JI JUNG JEUNG) starting production next month, Ng Wan Lung
said that due to the fate of his character "Wong Gau", he will not have 
a part in the new installment. However he is looking forward to visiting 
the set.  As for the prequel, he has heard that the rumor that it will 
not start preparation until THE FINAL CHAPTER's production wrap.  He is 
also looking forward to it.
	Ng Wan Lung has been called "Lung Jai" (Dragon Boy) when he was 
young, but he also had a nickname "Deaf Boy".  He explained that as early 
as more than 20 years ago when he first started in the film industry, he 
was hit in the ear by a gloved opponent during a fight scene.  The air 
pressure shocked his eardrums and the injury felt like  
cotton stuffed in the ear canal.  Although he has recovered over the 
years, his hearing is still slightly worse than that of ordinary people.

* (2026/03/16) The Best Actor Louis Koo Tin Lok (Goo Jai) and Jessica 
Hester Hsuan (Suen Huen) starred movie BACK TO THE PAST (CHUM CHUN GEI) 
has been released for more than two and a half months, and the box 
office performance has been satisfactory with a cumulative box office of 
nearly HK$97 million in Hong Kong and Macau as of the day before 
yesterday.  The film company released two days of "Lung Fong couple" 
(Koo Tin Lok and Suen Huen) audience appreciation screenings, all of the 
shows have been sold out in 3 minutes.  Goo Jai and Suen Huen appeared 
at cinemas this past weekend to thank the audience for their support.  
Many parents have brought their children to chase stars, one of the 
children even dressed up like a little Emperor Qin and was very eye 
catching.  When he gave away gifts, Goo Jai even picked up the little 
Emperor Qin to answer the question in front of the stage in a warm 
scene.  The audience appreciation event has become a fan club gathering, 
as Suen Heun played photographer for Koo Tin Lok and fans.  Goo Jai said 
that he completely sensed the audience's passion.  He said, "Since the 
release at end of December last year to now, many fans have watched it 
several times.  They really have been very supportive.  Some fans even 
came to Hong Kong from around the world to support us, they had to take 
the plane and book hotels, which couldn't have been easy.  I can tell 
that this group of fans since the drama A STEP INTO THE PAST premiere 
still likes and is drawn to this story over 2 decades, growing up with 
us.  This support is very rare.  Although this 3-year-old little Emperor 
Qin may not know who I, Suen Huen or Emperor Qin is, but his parents are 
willing to put this effort into supporting us; which makes me very 
happy."  Regarding the audience's love for the "Lung Fong couple" he and 
Suen Huen formed in the film.  Would he consider filming the "couple" 
spin off?  Goo Jai said noncommittally, "Anything can happen in this 
world, maybe I can consider it!"
	Another Lunar New Year film NIGHT KING (YEH WONG) as of 1PM 
yesterday afternoon has collected HK$ 95 million to reach fifth place 
among the Hong Kong film box office in Hong Kong history.

* (2026/03/16) The 19th Asian Film Awards Ceremony was held last night 
at the Xiqu Center in the West Kowloon Cultural District.  This year, 
the Asian Film Awards Academy would present special awards in a solemn 
and simple manner to recognize the outstanding contributions of 
filmmakers.  Mainland actress Zhang Ziyi won the "Excellence in Asian 
Cinema Award", mainland actor Liu Haoran won the "AFA New Generation 
Award", and Terrance Lau Chun Hin won the "AFA Rising Star Award".
	The Asian Film Awards competition last year had over 20 award 
categories, including Best Film, Director, Best Actor and Actress, Best 
Supporting Actor and Actress, etc.  Sean Lau Ching Wan with PAPA won the 
Asian Film Award Best Actor.  This year the Asian Film Awards took place 
in a solemn and simple manner, canceling the film competition as the 
winners were announced in advanced.  This event announced the reason of 
canceling the awards early this year was the Tai Po fire last year, 
considering that the government postponed many official celebrations 
this decision was made.  The Asian Film Awards Academy chair Ricky Wong 
Ying Wai earlier said that in coordination with the government's low 
profile event handling, the nominations and the jury were unable to be 
handled in time.  
	Last night famous mainland director Jia Zhangke presented Zhang 
Ziyi with the "Excellence in Asian Cinema Award".  Zhang Ziyi said in an

because this was a very important award for her.  This was her second 
award after winning the Best Actress Award for THE GRANDMASTER (YUT DOI 
JUNG SI).  This time the caliber was much heavier, but her mood was more 
relaxed.  Speaking of her deep connection with Hong Kong, how did it 
feel to come to Hong Kong this time?  Zhang Ziyi said, "A few days ago I 
attended the Hong Kong Screenwriters' Guild Spring Dinner and Awards

happy to be recognized after 12 years in the industry.  Talking about 
his unforgettable experience in the entertainment industry, he said that 
he was honored to co-star with Chow Yun Fat in the movie DETECTIVE 
CHINATOWN 1900 in 2024.  "Because I grew up watching Fat Gor's movies 
since I was little, I have always regarded him as an idol.  I was 
finally able to film together on the set.   Fat Gor was very willing to 
share his own experience.  Every morning he would take us running, and 
even promised to run the half marathon in Hong Kong together."  What 
other roles would he like to play?  Liu Haoran said that he wanted to 
play the role of a father.  "I have some experience in acting, but I 
feel that actors have to act according to their age.  I have started to 
grow up, so I want to play the role of a father.  For example my father 
and I have talked about it, if I play a father I would have ideas on how 
to teach the child."
	Directors Sunny Chan Wing Sun and Peter Chan Charm Man presented 
the "AFA Rising Star Award" to the winner Lau Chun Him, who not only 
thanked his manager and family on stage, but also thanked his wife 
Cecilia Choi Sze Wan.  In an interview backstage, Lau Chun Him admitted 
that he has not attended an award ceremony for a long time, and as an 
actor he often needed to be recognize.  Winning this award has been a 
great encouragement for him.  He was very happy but "I don't dare to 
say that this award has given a shot of confidence to my career."   
	Lau Chun Him said that his wife Choi Sze Wan was overseas.

this year's "Youth Ambassadors".  Natalie expressed her gratitude, honor 
and joy.  She believed that youth was an advantage of actors, "Fast 
absorption, adaptable, and the range of character age could be even

the Asian Film Awards ceremony two years ago, and was the guest

* (2026/03/15) Charlene Choi Cheuk Yin (Ah Sa), Michelle Wai Sze Nga, 
Wong Yau Nam and director Jill Leung Pak Kin went to a shopping center 
in Tsuen Wan the night before to attend the sharing session for the 
movie CIAO UFO (JOI GEIN UFO).  Wai Sze Nga and Wong Yau Nam suddenly 
encountered a thrilling attack at the scene.  A woman in a pink dress 
and a wig shouted loudly outside the barricade and threw a bottled 
drink at the two.  Although it did not hit the two actors, it 
mistakenly hit a reporter.  The scene instantly fell into chaos, the 
staff immediately escorted the actors to the backstage, and the event 
immediately called the police.  Ah Sa avoided the disaster this time 
due to being late due to a traffic jam.
	A woman was noisy for more than an hour outside the barricade of 
the event the night before until Wai Sze Nga and Wong Yau Nam arrived 
at the scene for an interview with the media.  The woman suddenly threw 
a bottle of drink at them, but continued to curse after accidentally 
hitting the reporter.  The two actors saw what happened and the staff  
escorted them backstage.  Reporters scolded her for her behavior and she 
finally quieted down.  The security also asked the woman to leave the

	Wong Yau Nam and Wai Sze Nga were interviewed after coming out 
again.  Speaking of almost getting hit with a thrown water bottle, Wai 
Sze Nga said that she was so frightened that her heart skipped a beat.  
Because she has never encountered anything similar, and in the chaos she 
heard the woman say something like "shameless, stealing my man".  Wai 
Sze Nga joked, "Did I steal away Dr. Chou (Wai Sze Nga's husband), or 
did Yau Nam steal her man?"  Wong Yau Nam said that after hearing from

	Speaking of the scene in which Ah Sa wore wedding dresses in the 
movie, she said that she has worn it countless times over the years of 
filming.  Now would she consider wearing a Chinese or Western wedding 
dress?  She said, "For me personally I don't really want to have a 
wedding, unless my other half really wants to then I have to coordinate.   
Because a wedding is too troublesome.  I have heard Wai Sze Nga say that 
she wanted to give her husband a pleasure at her wedding but it was very 
hard.  I am too much of a perfectionist.  I would wan to do the best in 
every detail, which would be very painful.  Just the guest list alone is 
already quite a headache."  She did not shy away from saying that she 
has also talked about marriage with her boyfriend, and he did not care

	Director Leung Pak Kin talked about his film 8 years ago would

	Wong Yau am was very happy for the film to be officially 
released after 8 years.  He was nominated for the Hong Kong Film Award 
for "Best New Performer" with HOLLYWOOD HONG KONG (HEUNG GONG YAU GOR 
HOR LEI WOOT) more than 20 years ago.  Now he is nominated for "Best 
Supporting Actor" with CIAO UFO, and he was confident that he would win.
	Wai Sze Nga was also nominated for the Hong Kong Film Awards for 
"Best Supporting Actress" with CIAO UFO.  Wong Yau Nam immediately 
congratulated her and wished her happy events to continue to arrive, and 
winning awards together would be the best.  Wai Sze Nga said that her 
husband was also happy for her.  They went to have a meal to celebrate,

again after 12 years to perform, and landed at the Kai Tak Stadium for 
the first time to hold two "Just After Sunset" tour concerts.  Last 
night the series began, Sun Yanzi in a white jacket appeared around 
7:40 PM and displayed her diva level presence.  Reportedly tickets for 
the concerts were hard to come by, even Stephen Chow Sing Chi had to 
try something unique to "rob" tickets as he shot a funny video with 
Sun Yanzi.  Chow Sing Chi pretended to "rob" Sun Yanzi with a pair of 
pantyhose over his head and a banana in his hand, recreating the classic 
scene of ALL'S WELL ENDS WELL (GA YAU HEI SI) "This is a stick up, men 
to the left women to the right against the wall, please", which has

	Chow Sing Chi and Sun Yanzi jointly posted a post on social 
platforms yesterday to reprise the scene of ALL'S WELL ENDS WELL; in the 
photo Chow Sing Chi was seen with his back to the camera, wearing nude-

* (2026/03/14) The Nick Cheung Ka Fai and Chung Suet Ying starred new 
film GOOD TRIP (NGOR AH DEH SEUNG LUI HUNG) was selected for the 24th 
Hong Kong Asian Film Financing Forum (HAF)'s Work In Progress project.  
The film would be Mabel Cheung Yuen Ting produced, Norris Wong Yi Lam 
and Wong Hoi co-directed, and receive a grant of HK$ 9 million from the 
Hong Kong Film Development Council's "Directors' Succession Scheme".  
The film is currently in post-production.  Wong Hoi said, "Although the 
total production cost of our previous films MY PRINCE EDWARD (GUM DOH) 
and THE LYRICIST WANNABE (TIN CHI L) didn't reach HK$ 9 million, as a 
filmmaker, of course we want to be perfect.  By participating in HAF 
this time, I hope to receive more support from the funding and listen to 
the opinions of different industry players."
	GOOD TRIP has been in preparation for 5 years, during which it 
has gone through the pandemic and the passing of one of the producers 
Alex Law Kai Yui; the year before last, THE LYRICIST WANNABE and PEG O' 
MY HEART (SHOOK MUNG) were selected for the Udine Far East Film Festival 
in Italy and accidentally led to Cheung Ka Fai playing the role of a 
father with cancer and a father-daughter relationship with Chung Suet 
Ying.  Wong Hoi recalled, "Unexpectedly, when we met for the first time, 
Ka Fai had already expressed that he liked the script very much.  He 
even shared many opinions and short stories with his daughter.  Ka Fai 
mentioned that he and his daughter once traveled to Japan, ate ramen 
together, sightsaw and played all over, all of which were very sweet 
memories for him."
	Wong Yi Lam revealed that the script has incorporated the story 
of Cheung Ka Fai and his daughter. "Ka Fai makes it sound extremely 
romantic, I remember the most in the Japanese travel video, they saw

starring film GIRLFRIENDS (NUI HAI BUT PING FAN) has been nominated for 
the 44th Hong Kong Film Awards Best Supporting Actress and Best New 
Performer.  Receiving the industry's recognition, she felt very 
encouraged.  Macau director Tracy Choi Yan Sin in order to help Tang To 
and Taiwan actress Han Ning get into passion and bed scenes hired 
Taiwan's "intimacy director", and joked that co-stars and Best Actresses 
Jennifer Yu Heung Ying and Fish Liew Chi Yu complained out of jealousy.  
Tang To said that after receiving directing, her three intimate scenes

journey of an ordinary's exploration of love and growing, inviting Liew 
Chi Yu, Yu Heung Ying, Tang To, Han Ning, Natalie Hsu (Hui Yan Yi) and 
Eliz Liao to star and shooting on location in Hong Kong, Taiwan and 
Macao.  Tang To last year with GIRLFRIENDS was nominated for the 62nd 
Golden Horse Awards Best Supporting Actress in Taiwan, this year she 
has been nominated for the Hong Kong Film Awards Best Supporting Actress 
and Best New Performer.  She said that she was very encouraged to 
receive recognition for her first starring feature from the industry.  
"Last time with the Golden Horse Award nomination, I spent one week's 
tie to digest that happy feeling.  I happened to run into work in 
Thailand at the time and rewarded myself with a mango sticky rice.  This 
time with the Hong Kong Film Award nomination has been different again, 
Hong Kong is the place I grew up in so it has another meaning.  When the 
nomination was announced, it happened to be the Lunar New Year so I 
rewarded myself with several pans more of turnip cake and New Year rice 
cake."
	Tang To rated her own performance as still lacking and having 
room for improvement, she did not dare to talk about her chances of 
winning.  She felt that she was already very lucky to have a film 
contract, just like winning the gigantic top prize of the New Year 
Snowball lottery.  She thanked Choi Yan Sin for giving her the 
opportunity, saying if she would win she would take the director to 
dinner to repay her.  Aside from Tang To, the creator of the GIRLFRIENDS 
theme song ORDINARY PEOPLE Panther Chan Lui has also been nominated for 
Best Original Film Song.  Choi Yan Sin was happy for Chan Lui and 
praised her for being talented.  "She was also on the SISTERHOOD team.  
Last time she has already helped with writing the theme song.  This time 
I invited her to collaborate again, she very quickly agreed and even 
took care of the music and the lyrics.  The lyrics closely followed the

	Choi Yan Sin revealed that during the novel coronavirus 
pandemic, she examined her creative direction and suddenly thought of 
making a story related to her own growing up.  GIRLFRIENDS' original 
draft screenplay wrote about her feeling for different cities and 
conditions at different ages.  "I chronicled being 17 in Macau where I 
was born and raised, observed by all the neighbors and the feeling of 
not being able to be myself.  At 22 I went to study in Taipei, I was 
very free but felt lost.  At 34 I came to Hong Kong and faced the 
distress and pressure at work and relationships.  As screenwriters, 
producer and actors joined in, the plot combined different elements and 
not just starting from my own experience and feeling alone."  The film 
involved the LGBT subject.  She admitted that she ran into difficulties 
with raising financing early on.  "Investors may not feel the box office 
would be very ideal, thus they hesitated and cautiously considered.  
Luckily in the end I found financing from several places."  
	Choi Yan Sin asked 3 actors to play different stages of the 
"girl" Ah Yan in the film.  "I hope everyone would be able to relate to 
the story because of the girls with different faces.  I believe 
everyone has some of the experiences while growing p."  To Tang played 
the 22 year old Ah Yan, and Choi Yan Sin praised her for a convincing 
and very charming performance.  She revealed hat at first she was drawn 
to To Tang's crew cut photo on social platform, so she asked her and Han 
Ning to audition together.  She thought that they were both very 
suitable and confirmed them to play an intimate couple, but before the 
shoot began they had some concerns.  "They didn't know each other well, 
and both warm up slowly.  To get into the roles in a short time and 
challenge passion and bed scenes, everyone were a little worried.  So I 
decided to use the professional 'intimacy director' who is popular in 
Taiwan for intimate scenes to help them, and discover the result was 
tremendous."  She revealed that Liew Chi Yu and Yu Heung Ying complained 
that she was playing favorites and asked why they did not receive any 
instruction from the "intimacy director".  "I have listened to them.  
Last time when we made SISTERHOOD (GWUT MUI) knew they wanted to play a 
couple, so this time I matched them up.  Liew Chi Yu and Yu Heung Ying 
have known each other for man years, and their performance already has 
chemistry."  
	Tang To praises her co-star Han Ning for her easy going 
performance and being a good partner.  The "intimacy director" also 
helped her and Han Ning create sparks.  "At first when I got this 
role I felt it was very demanding, luckily the costume helped me get 
into the role.  The first encounter with the 'intimacy director' taught 
me and Han Ning to establish trust of touching each other, from which I 
benefitted a lot.  For the three intimate scenes in the film, before 
rehearsal we have already communicate how to perform them.  Like 
remembering the marks in action scenes, we were able to be like fish in 
the water during the shoot.  When we shot the first and the third 
intimate scene, we respectively express passion and the love hate 
relationship.  It was very unforgettable."

* (2026/03/13) Sonija Kwok Sin Nei and Jimmy Au Sui Wai attended the 
smoking cessation event as guests yesterday.  The box office of the 
movie version of BACK TO THE PAST (CHUM CHUN GEI) in Hong Kong and Macau 
has exceeded 90 million (Hong Kong dollars, the same below), the Sonija 
starred A STEP INTO THE PAST (CHUM CHUN GEI) 25 years ago was recently 
rerun.  Looking back, Sonija laughed and said that she could no longer 
return to the innocence of the past.  She also revealed that the 
filming of the TV version was when her weight was at its peak.
	Not a smoker herself, Sonija admitted that she hated when others 
smoked.  When she was filming during pregnancy, she was very angry when  
other actors smoked, so she had to walk away by herself.  Au Sui Wai 
admitted hat he once was a smoker and now has already quit.
	On stage, Sonija and Au Sui Wai shared their daily stress 
relief methods, revealing that they would use the "4-7-8 breathing 
method" to relax, while Au Sui Wai said that he would use the deep 
breathing method.  He also believed that if you want to persuade your 
friends to quit smoking, you should not use too strong methods; you 
should care more about them, and from an economic point of view you 
would persuade your friends to quit smoking.  It would be more cost-
effective to use the smoking expenses to travel.
	Regarding the movie version of BACK TO THE PAST, in which the 
two participated, the box office in Hong Kong and Macau has exceeded 90 
million.  They all expressed their hope that the box office would be 
able to exceed 100 million.  Sonija said that she took her mother and 
14-year-old daughter to the venue to enjoy BACK earlier.  "I didn't 
expect my daughter to laugh and understand ancient dialogue."  Referring 
to TVB's late-night replay of the TV version of A STEP INTO THE PAST, 
Sonija, who played "Kam Ching", laughed and said that she could no 
longer return to the innocence and naivete of the past, and revealed 
that she was at the peak of her weight when she was filming the TV 
version: "At that time the costume didn't require to be tied around my 
waist.  I was binge eating snacks and weighed more than 120 pounds, and 
I lost it immediately when I returned to Hong Kong!"  She said that she 
would only eat 50% full on weekdays, but she was not afraid to eat the 
lunch box when she was at work.  "I will drop the weight in advance 
before filming starts.  Work takes energy and physical strength, so I am

Normally at home she had the maid would cook, she would only cook during 
the holidays and when the mood struck her.
	Au Sui Wai also praised the delicious lunch box at work, but he

situation drama "LO AND BEHOLD" earlier, there was a scene in which he

that he took a total of two takes that day, and the reporter said that

recently shared how she felt about becoming an overnight sensation.
	When asked about becoming the first MVP of the Hong Kong 
entertainment industry in 2026, Ah Kay expressed surprise.  "I just want 
to say Happy New Year hahaha! Happy New Year!  The only feeling I have 
from making everyone even more popular, just like what the movie says: 
it's hard to describe!  Actually it could be said to be a milestone in 
my personal acting career.  In terms of career, at my age this year, it 
should be just the age when a person's career needs to start, so it has 
been a great support for me."
	Regarding the director's admission in an interview that she was 
dug up in a pile of abandoned resumes, Ah Kay also knew about this.   
"Because the assistant director said that those people were 'kam', so as 
soon as the director heard the word 'kam', his eyes lit up!  Then he 
laughed when he saw the audition video!  When designing the role of "Kwai 
Fong", I came up with the idea of using (Cally) Kwong Mei Wan and 
Lin Minchen to create a combination.  This was a way to let myself enjoy 
the process during the audition, and when I couldn't achieve cute and 
cuddly, I would use another method to devote myself to it!  Find a mask 
to put on and slowly develop it into a character, and finally it become 
'Kwai Fong'!"
	Speaking of a hilarious scene in the movie when "Kwai Fong" 
shaved and painted her eyebrows before appearing, Ah Kay laughed and 
said that it was improvised.  "Actually I came up with this on the spot! 
Because at that time the Fish (Liew Chi Yu) played Mimi Ma was actually 
teaching me to draw eyebrows and at the same time I was shaving, so I 
held an eyebrow pencil in one hand and a razor in the other! Then Alan 
Yeung Wai Lun asked what I wanted.  That's how this dialogue came 
about!"
	Speaking of future developments, Ah Kay was ready and said with 
a smile, "Hey!  I am a freelance actor, I am not affiliated with any 
theater company or company, I would go to all 18 districts amd not just 
stay in Kwai Fong.  Any theater company, any movie, if you have a job, 
look for me!  Singing is a bit of a struggle, but musicals can also be 
considered, hahaha!"
	Renci Yeung Sze Wing and "Kwai Fong" Choi Wai Kay transformed 
into sexy hostesses from the movie NIGHT KING to shoot a fast food chain   
advertisement and were ordered to pig out.  Renci said, "When filming 
NIGHT KING I have to wear a tight-fitting dress so I don't dare to eat 
too much.  This time for the commercial I can eat while I shoot, I 
don't need to worry about hunger.  It absolutely is an all new 
experience."  Choi Wai Kay considers herself a "carnivorous girl" and 
said with a smile: "The role of 'Kwai Fong' is definitely 'curry chop 
rice', because she is omnivorous enough and never picks customers, 
haha!" The two hoped to shoot another commercial, and Choi Wai Kay even 
thought of chopping char siu in the barbecue department.

* (2026/03/12) Louis Cheung Kai Chung and his wife Kay Tse On Kay 
appeared together the night before.  Ah Chung happily said that he has 
worked with many screenwriters at the scene and could take the 
opportunity to reminisce.  Kay joked that she was not familiar with the 
screenwriters, so she wandered around to let everyone see her.  They 
could think of her when they would write the script in the future and 
write a suitable role for her.  "Actually, I enjoy being a mother.  
Because not many actors on the market are suitable to be mothers age 
wise, I hope to forge a bloody path!"  Would Ah Chung like to work with 
his wife?  He joked that they could play mother and son in the subject 
of time travel.  In addition, some people said that Ah Chung wanted to 
accompany his children to study abroad, would he was consider 
immigration?  He said it was a misunderstanding, and revealed that 
after his elder son went to Australia to study they communicated more 
than before.
	Speaking of MIDLIFE SING AND SHINE singers Ramon Lo (Law Kai Ho) 
and Tam Fai Chi successfully landing on the Hong Kong Coliseum a few 
years after their debut, but Kay, who has won the "Best Female Singer" 
several times, was not approved for the booking; many online felt bad 
for her.  Kay said that successfully applying for a venue involved many 
factors, and she did not want to make wild speculations.  "Many factors 
lead to singers or companies to be able to get certain dates.  I haven't 
been upset or really longing for it, leave it to destiny. Hong Kong has 
many other different venues too."  Cheung Kai Chung said that every 
singer has his or her own support, so they should be treated a little 
fairer. Law Kai Ho and Tam Fai Chi have the support of many fans after 
years of hard work, and he was happy for them.  "I too want to perform 
on a Hong Kong Coliseum show.  I have seen elder Wu Fung able to after 
the age of 90, so I am in no hurry."  

* (2026/03/12) The "Hong Kong Screenwriters' Guild Spring Dinner and 
Awards Ceremony" was held the night before, Zhang Ziyi, Michael Hui 
Koon Man, Nick Cheung Ka Fai, Sammi Cheng Sau Man, Dayo Wong Tze Wah, 
Fala Chen, Carlos Chan Ka Lok, Shiga Lin Sze Nga, Michelle Wai Sze Nga, 
etc. appeared to show their support and the event was star-studded.  
Zhang Ziyi revealed that she wanted to make a romantic movie with "Jar 
Jar Fai" Cheung Ka Fai.  She also promised the screenwriters that if 
they had a good script but lacked funds, they might as well come to her.
	A total of three awards were awarded this year, with 
screenwriter Jeffrey Lau Chun Wai winning the 2025 Honorary Award; Kong 
Ho Yan and Amy Chin Siu Wai's CIAO UFO (JOI GEIN UFO) and Shu Qi's GIRL 
(NUI HAI) both won the Recommended Screenplay of the Year Award; Zhang 
Ziyi won the Best Movie Character of the Year Award for her role in 
SHE'S GOT NO NAME's Zhan Zhou, and she even made a special trip to Hong 
Kong to receive the award.
	Ziyi was interviewed with a trophy in her hand, bluntly saying 
that she has not been to Hong Kong for a long time and she won the award 
as soon as she came.  She felt that Hong Kong was a treasure land.  She 
did not expect that with only half the film released she was able to 
win the award, and thanked the Guild for its recognition of the role. 
Speaking of whether the second half would be released this year, she 
smiled and said that she would ask the always very demanding director 
Peter Chan Ho Sun.  Would she be confident that she will win the Hong 
Kong Film Awards for "Best Actress" next?  She said, "I really haven't 
thought much about it, today is already a surprise and several of the 
actors are also very good; I like it very much."  She revealed that she 
has just chatted with Cheung Ka Fai and mentioned that she wanted to 
make a film together.  "I really want to make a romantic movie with him, 
it would be quite interesting."  Would she be able to understand 
Ka Fai's Putonghua?  She joked: "Jar Jar Fai! I understand!"  She said 
that she has seen a video of Cheung Ka Fai speaking Putonghua, and felt 
that it was funny and cute.
	Regarding her promise to the screenwriters when she received the 
award, if they have a good script but lack funds they might as well come 
to her, Ziyi emphasized that she would not be the boss.  She only felt  
that good stories and good projects needed to be supported, especially 
when the film industry has been facing some difficulties.  The Ziyi 
directed and starred film has been rumored to start production in May.  
She said that she would make another movie in April first, and the 
reported news was not accurate.  There is currently no casting, but she 
would not ruled out that mainland and Hong Kong actors will be used.  
She would also participate in the casting, hoping to help the movie.
	Zhang Ziyi's family went to Sanya for vacation in the New Year.  
Her daughter was praised as the strongest "second generation star", and 
also inherited her mother's beauty.  Ziyi smiled and said, "Yes, she is 
much better looking than when she was born.  Girls change when they grow 
up, just like I did back then." She revealed that her daughter once 
asked if she could be an actor and she would let it be, unfortunately 
there was no suitable role in the new film.  She pointed out that her 
daughter has inherited her acting talent, but did not like singing and 
dancing.  Instead she likes parkour and other high-intensity activities. 
She smiled and revealed that her daughter loves to chase stars, her 
favorite is Song Yuqi of the Korean girl group (G)I-DLE.  "She likes 
everything Song Yuqi likes, and she also wants the bags that Song Yuqi  
likes." Ziyi was slightly jealous and said that her daughter didn't care 
much about her, and she had only seen the fight scenes with Jackie Chan. 
Ziyi said that after watching SHE'S GOT NO NAME, her daughter felt that 
her mother had a very hard time.  She felt sorry for her mother being 
beaten very hard, which moved her very much.
	Ziyi said that she would accompany her daughter to chase stars, 
revealing that she would take her daughter to see (G)I-DLE's Hong Kong 
concert and that she would attend the Hong Kong Film Awards ceremony in 
the middle of next month.  However she has not yet chosen what to wear. 
Now she does not care much about being pretty, only asks to be graceful.  
Ziyi said that she also hoped to make Hong Kong films in the future, but 
speaking Cantonese is quite difficult.  She even tried to say on the 
spot: "I understand but I can't speak?"
	Cheung Ka Fai and Fala Chen reunited since promoting the movie 
PEG O' MY HEART (SHOOK MUNG) last year, and Fala was nominated for the 
Hong Kong Film Award for "Best Actress" for the first time.  Ka Fai 
joked, "Of course she would win Best Actress, in this world I support 
her the most.  Actually her performance is great and worth supporting."  
Fala however was not confident in winning the award, saying that she was 
surprised to be nominated and was determined to participate.  Would she 
attend the Hong Kong Film Awards with her husband?  She said that her 
husband would take care of her daughter, so when she came to Spring 
dinner the night before and the Hong Kong Film Awards ceremony on April 
19th, she would go back and forth from abroad on the same day.  Ka Fai 
was also nominated for "Best Original Film Song" for the theme song 
"Eternal Insomnia" of PEG O' MY HEART.  Fala laughed and said that she 
has already voted for him so he must win the award "for sure", but Ka 
Fai said that he could not attend due to work and would not be in Hong 
Kong, and joked that if he won the award, Fala would sing on stage on 
his behalf.
	Producer Teddy Chan Tak Sum revealed that the movie that would 
raise fund for the Hong Kong Stuntmen Association, "1941", would star  
Cheung Ka Fai, Louis Koo Tin Lok, Daniel Wu (Ng Yin Cho) and Charmaine 
Sheh Sze Man.  Ka Fai said that he has agreed to perform for the time 
being, "I want to support Hong Kong films, support director Chin Ka Lok, 
support the Stuntmen Association that grew up with me.  Many action 
directors have taught me, so that I can still fight today.  (Donnie) Yen 
Chi Tan right now just caught up with me a little.  I want to perform 
for everyone to see."  He said he has read the script, but the details 
of the characters were not clear.
	Earlier he went to perform in Singapore and his wife tagged 
along.  He joked that his wife went back to meet the elders, and he 
chose to sing Jacky Cheung Hok Yau's golden song "Kiss Goodbye" but did 
not sing his own song.  Ka Fai said with a smile, "Cheung Hok Yau's 
songs are my songs, and I will always have the opportunity to sing my 
own songs in the future."  Recently Stephen Fung Tak Lun and Koo Tin Lok 
have come back to the music scene and released new songs, Ka Fai said 
that he did not have much ambition, and joked that he would sing in the 
toilet every other week.  He also dragged Fala in with him for a duet.  
Fala awkwardly refused, joking that releasing a record was a "stain on 
life" and had post-traumatic disorder.  Ka Fai joked, "Why? If you sing 
a few times, you will be cured."
	Ka Fai also revealed that when he showed off his muscles for the 
movie NIGHTFALL (DAI JUI BO), everyone thought that he worked out for the 
film but he actually did it for Fung Tak Lun. "Back then Fung Tak Lun 
was making a movie and asked me to play the magician.  I had to unlock a 
lock in the water then drifted back out again.  I also had to take off 
my clothes!  So I went to work out!  Who knew that during training he 
told me the production won't happen.  Then I kept training for 
NIGHTFALL!"
	People online have been looking forward to Ka Fai making a 
comedy again, why not work with Fala again in a comedy?  Ka Fai praised 
Fala for her high potential and looked forward to working together 
again, but for now he did not dare to be a director, for fear of having 
too many responsibilities and taking care of too much.  Would he make a 
Lunar New Year movie?  He joked, "Lunar New Year horror?  Okay, but I  
have to be very confident to dare to make it, and I'm afraid that the 
script would take too long and won't keep up with the times."

(YEH WONG) team appeared at the "Hong Kong Screenwriters' Guild Spring 
Tea Dinner and Awards Ceremony 2026" the night before.  Regarding the 
cumulative box office of the film in Hong Kong and Macau exceeding HK$ 
90 million, Tze Wah has been expected to create a legend and dominate 
the top three of Hong Kong film box office in Hong Kong film history;  
Tze Wah boldly said that if that would come true, he would be a guest at 
Sammi's concert and celebrate with a lively song and dance.
	Tze Wah and Sammi said that they were very happy that NIGHT KING 
has achieved good results and exchanged pleasantries to each other,  
saying that it was the other's credit.  Tze Wah even pointed out that he 
has calculated for Sammi, who has spent more days promoting the movie 
than on making it; Sammi also said that she really did her best.  
Speaking of some Legislative Council member advocating the 
revitalization of the night market in Tsim Sha Tsui East with the "Night 
King Era" as the subject, they both expressed their approval.  They 
thought that Hong Kong has been too quiet at night now.  If they would 
have Dai Pai Dong it would be even better, because finding a place for 
everyone to to chat at night has been nonexistent; citizens could also 
do a little business.
	Speaking of Tze Wah being expected to win the top three highest-
grossing Hong Kong films with THE LAST DANCE (POR. DEI YUK), A GUILTY 
CONSCIENCE (DUK SIT DAI JONG) and NIGHT KING, Tze Wah said that the 
credit belonged to the entire film team.  If it would really happen of 
course it would be a happy event, and worth having a meal to celebrate.  
He also had to rush to make it happen before Sammi's Kai Tak concert in 
July, so she could have a proper feast.  NIGHT KING would also have to 
book a private room to watch the show.  Sammi laughed and pointed out 
that the concert has not yet been officially announced, but Tze Wah has 
been more anxious than her.  Would Tze Wah be a guest performer?  He 
said proudly, "This is really hard to refuse, and I can't say a few 
words on stage.  I actually have to sing and dance with Sammi; I also 
am expecting to see the bonesetter, because Sammi's choreography is 
crazy and deadly and one out of the four limb will be lost, haha."  
Sammi immediately said: "Hey, it's you who say yes, I am excited just  
from thinking about it."
	Many concerts and concerts have low attendance rates recently, 
but would Sammi not have to worry about this?  Tze Wah said that he had 
confidence in Sammi's appeal; Sammi instead asked Tze Wah if he would 
worry about box office.  Actually everyone was in the same mood.  She 
said, "It's not that I'm not scared, but I don't overestimate myself 
every time I perform a concert.  The important thing is to be yourself 
and do your best."  Speaking of whether she would have a chance to break 
the Kai Tak Stadium show record, she admitted that she probably would 
not have too many shows.  After all, she is old and her style is to do 
the best in every performance.  However she is very happy that the movie 
results are like passing a hurdle, so that she can work on the concert

relationship.  Recently Liew Chi Yu had another new film release, Wong 
Dan Nei said that on the day of the premiere, she could not support the 
show because she was not in Hong Kong; but she would definitely buy 
tickets to support her after that.  She enjoyed the process of entering 
the theater to watch the movie.	
	Regarding Liew Chi Yu's many intimate scenes between women in 
the new film GIRLFRIENDS (NUI HAI BUT PING FAN), would Wong Dan Nei be 
able to accept acting in similar subjects?  She bluntly stated that as 
an actress she would not limit her possibilities, as long as the 
director feels that she is suitable for the role she will be happy to 
challenge.  She also took the new film AGAINST ALL ODDS (YING GAU FEI 
FU) as an example, when the director wanted her with long hair to get a 
crew cut, she agreed, "He was so sudden, he only said, 'let's go now!' 
on the day of the crew cut.  I was a little scared, but I was very glad 
to have a very different image for the audience.  Earlier I got a crew 
cut for the shoot, my husband (Sheldon Lo) likes my long hair.  When I 
have time I would wear a wig for his benefit."  Liew Chi Yu said that

  Although the Chinese government promised that Hong Kong would
  retain separate status until 2047, in recent years the Chinese state
  has consolidated its power over the metropolis. Large-scale protests
  by the populace have been brutally suppressed. This mix of
  documentary, fiction, and visions of the future reveals the current
  state of desolate depression among the people of Hong Kong. "A
  desperate attempt to capture the final moments of a sinking island",
  as maker Chan Tze-woon himself puts it.

  In four chapters, Chan looks back at previous moments of resistance
  and revolution on the island: in 1967, 1973, and 1989. He shows how
  the activists of then are faring now. Some still burn with
  righteous fire, while others are disillusioned or have been bought
  off by the system. The past is presented in fictional scenes, with
  today's activists playing those of yesteryear. As one of the young

  It was one day in late February, with the entrance exams over and 
  graduation just around the corner. Amid the government's increasingly 
  strict surveillance, the students of Class 3-E looked back on their 
  year with Korosensei. 

  Memories resurfaced — the fading doodles they drew on Professor Bitch, 
  the special swimming lessons, the clashes with the students of Class 
  A, and Valentine's chocolates. The classroom bustled with nostalgic 
  conversations. 

  Meanwhile, during winter break, Korosensei was targeted by a group of 
  four assassins, but as always, he easily dodged their attacks. Later, 
  when he visited the izakaya they frequented to tease them, he ended up 
  saving the blind owner, Azusa, who was burdened with debt, and her 
  daughter Hotaru, from a certain incident. 

  Through this encounter, Korosensei once again strengthened his 
  resolve: to accept his fate, yet fulfill his duty as a teacher with 
  all his might until the very end. 

  Another day began as usual. The students of Class 3-E continued their 
  attempts to assassinate Korosensei before the school year ended, while 
  Korosensei, with a smile, deflected their attacks and praised their 
  growth. 

  And in the ending, the "graduation album" —Korosensei's final task— 
  reveals a glimpse of their future, leading into the series finale.

  The year is U.C.0105, twelve years after Char's Rebellion. "MAFTY" has 
  begun resisting the Federation government's tyrannical rule by 
  assassinating its high-ranking officials. Its leader is actually 
  Hathaway Noa, the son of Bright Noa, who fought in the One Year War 
  alongside Amuro Ray.

  A girl named Gigi Andalusia, who displays uncanny powers, has reminded 
  Hathaway of a past trauma. Though he is bewildered by her words, he 
  prepares to carry out an air raid on the Adelaide conference, 
  determined to fulfill MAFTY's goals and lay his own past to rest. 

  Haunted by past trauma, Hathaway is drawn to the mysterious girl Gigi 
  Andalucia, whose strange powers stir memories within him. While swayed 
  by her cryptic words, he continues preparing for MAFTY’s mission — the 
  attack on the Adelaide Conference.

  Meanwhile, Kenneth Sleg of the Federation Forces prepares a defense 
  operation for the Adelaide Conference and a plan to eliminate MAFTY, 
  when he is approached by Handley Yoxon of the Criminal Police 
  Organization with a secret proposal.

  As Hathaway and Kenneth pursue their respective goals, Gigi also sets 
  off for Hong Kong to fulfill her own role.

  years.  However, fate played a cruel trick.  During the Lunar New

[ BROADWAY CIRCUIT ]
  Wrongly imprisoned after Hong Siu-lung’s time-traveling disappearance, 
  Ken was wrongly imprisoned and lost everything. After his release, he 
  leads his daughter Galie and a team to steal the Cme machine.  
  Equipped with a face-duplication device, Ken plans to pose as the Qin

  Kong, took part in a time traveling experiment back to the Qin 
  Dynasty, to study the First Emperor's elixir of life. But he was never 
  heard from again. Today, his father Lee Ka-chun uncovered 2 mummies 
  near an unexcavated area of the First Emperor's mausoleum, with one of 
  them holding a smart phone. When it was confirmed that the phone 
  belonged to Randy and contained pictures of a bomb defuser called Hong 
  Siu-lung, Lee Ka-chun persuaded Hong Siu-lung to go back in time and 
  bring his son home.
