* (2023/04/05) Anthony Wong Chau Sun in the film THE SUNNY SIDE OF THE 
STREET (BAK YUN CHING CHUN) played a middle aged taxi driver who 
developed a warm and touching interpersonal relationship after running 
into the Sahal Zaman (Lam Lok) played Pakistani refugee.  Although 
the role was ordinary and his live was simple, many viewers after 
watching the film praised Chau Sun for his convincing and detailed 
portrayal. Chau Sun felt that the credit should go to the costume 
designer, who helped me a lot with the slopping look.  In addition 
professional drivers would be stuck inside the car for a long time 
and would enjoy a drink, he felt that he could not be without a belly.  
During the shoot, everyday after work he had two hamburgers.  The 
belly unknowingly appeared.  As for playing a grandpa role, he admitted 
that he was old and did not need to imitate anyone.
	Chau Sun was not worried that the audience would compare THE 
SUNNY SIDE OF THE STREET's taxi driver with STILL HUMAN (LUN LOK YUN)'s 
paralyzed from a workplace accident character. He said that although 
the two characters were close in age, their backgrounds and 
personalities were drastically different.  For STILL he was able to 
make himself and the home smelly; for SUNNY he was able to achieve 
that old age stench, so old that he believed he would die soon.  
"An earlier examination revealed high blood pressure, now I have to be 
careful with my diet, pay attention to my health since I am not a kid 
anymore."
	Chau Sun said that the film actually was not able a taxi 
driver, but through this taxi driver bring about a stubborn senior.  
"This type of unreasonable person, like the series THE GREED OF MEN's 
Ting Hai.  I have seen plenty in my life."  As for playing an ordinary 
taxi driver, Chau Sun felt that it was not particularly difficult.  The 
character itself gave up on himself, very dispirited.  When he got to 
the set, he neglected everything.  He did not need to act and joked 
that he could not be more comfortable.  He said, "However I analyzed 
later and realized that actually the hardest from the beginning to the 
end was giving up on myself, being sloppy.  As an actor I would more or 
less care about my image.  During the performance I would unknowingly 
fix myself, hoping that I wouldn't be too gross.  However this time I 
am not allowed to."
	The child actor who worked with Chau Sun, Sahal Zaman (Lam Lok) 
worked on a movie for the first time.  Many actors were afraid of 
working with children and animals because they were hard to control.  
They would have bad takes nonstop and go past schedule.  Chau Sun said 
that this time this situation did not appear, and praised Lam Lok as 
smart and cute.  "I don't need to help him.  We instead have to learn 
to be children, not children learning from us.  Children's instinct 
and natural ways are the best.  Lam Lok is very cute, his performance 
is very natural.  The first time we met we already had a lot to talk 
about, we didn't need to build a relationship.  During the performance 
we had great chemistry.  As for (Endy) Chow Kwok Yin who played my 
son, his performance was also decent."  In the film he and his son 
were estranged, but in real life, Chau Sun and his son's relationship 
has been rather good.  Their communication has also been great and 
they never had any problem.
	Chau Sun revealed that THE SUNNY SIDE OF THE STREET production 
process was very smooth, personally he had no major problems and did 
not have any scene that he felt was hard to play.  "For director Lau 
Kwok Rui it may be hard to make, because this time is his first 
feature film.  His technique isn't too mature yet, but he is very 
willing to communicate with everyone, listen to everyone's suggestions.  
I would give him suggestions too, logically ask him whether this was 
necessary.  He had to take care and resolve many problems, so we would 
help him solve the minor problems and lighten his load."  Chau Sun said 
that to him, the hardest was to have shampoo on his head for hours.  He 
only had very little hair left, so he was pretty afraid that they would 
fall out too after the shoot.  "It wasn't hard, it was tragic."
	Chau Sun has been in film for decades.  Not lacking in stage 
experience, he admitted that he would very rarely say the script is 
amazing and had to be made.  In the past in order to make a living, 
some films might not be too attractive but he still took them.  He also 
had several favorite films, included EXILED (FONG JOOK), THE MISSION 
(CHEUNG FOR), IP MAN: THE FINAL FIGHT (IP MAN: JUNG GIK YUT JIN), and 
PRINCESS D (SEUNG FEI).  He said that THE SUNNY SIDE OF THE STREET was 
decent.  He was very happy to work with new director Lau Kwok Rui 
and felt that he was very sincere, the script attractive, and the 
character special.  It was a decent experience.

* (2023/04/05) MIRROR's Edan Lui Cheuk On and Jer Lau Ying Ting, along 
with Teresa Mo Shun Kwan, Ronald Cheng Chung Kei, Jennifer Yu Heung 
Ying, Wong Yau Nam, Yeung Wai Lun, Bonnie Wong Man Wai, Lau Kong and 
director Ho Cheuk Tin attended the film OVER MY DEAD BODY (SEI SI SEI 
SI SEI SUP SEI)'s audience appreciation event.  The event scheduled a 
ceremony at the auspicious time of 4:44 PM on the 4th in response to 
the film's Chinese title.  Edan and Jer pretend to mob the floor with 
the prop mobs from the film as a representation of crossing the finish 
line, and bang the gong 4 times to wish for big success for the film.  
Then they divided into 4 teams for audience appreciation events all 
over.
	Earlier Keung To and Anson Lo performed at a music festival.  
Keung To fans "Keung candies" did not wait for Anson Lo's performance 
before leaving in droves and seemingly disrespected Anson Lo.  Edan said 
that he was not there, so he was not too sure.  Jer stated that if it 
was true that it would not be too good.  Edan said, "Whether it was a 
fellow member of MIRROR or other singers, we need to respect each 
other.  Everyone has the freedom to choose, if you are busy and leave 
that is absolutely no problem."  Edan described MIRROR as 
shared-destiny community and cannot be divided.  They deeply believed 
in their unity, if fans would be united as well then it would be even 
better.
	MIRROR fans disputes constantly happened, Edan felt that each 
member had their own ways so he was not at liberty to comment.  
Privately they have not discussed this topic.  He helplessly said, 
"It's not like fans would listen after we say it, it's a personal 
choice."  They said that they would try to educate their fans.  Jer 
would also be a good role model.  "When I watch a show I definitely 
wouldn't leave in the middle.  I would also avoid pictures and 
interviews, as I would worry that I would affect the guest performers."
	Speaking of the MIRROR fan meet at the end of next month, 
reportedly MIRO members would receive live broadcast tickets and watch 
for free online.  Members who were lucky enough to be picked would 
have to pay another HK$ 480 for admission.  Reportedly it was unfair 
to those who were attending in person.  They pointed out that this 
was the company's standard and they had no right to interfere.  They 
were happy that the online live broadcast would happen.  Edan said, "I 
am not afraid of being unfair, the live atmosphere is ultimately 
different.  Meeting up close is different."  Jer joked that he was 
a small pomato and might not have the ability to demand change from 
the company.
	Mo Shun Kwan did not feel the audience appreciation events 
taking place on "4" related date and time as taboo.  "Evil can't 
triumph over good.  I hope the movie would be in theaters for 44 days 
and we would attend audience appreciation events for all 44 days."  
Ronald said that the film originally was scheduled for a Lunar New Year 
release and believed that everyone would understand after watching.  
Now Easter would be even more suitable.  Sister Mo joked, "This movie 
is made for Easter."  She really liked this film's subject, felt it was 
special, and decent for the box office.  The film production process 
faced a lot of difficulties but in the end they would be able to finish 
it smoothly.  In addition she has heard good word of mouth and felt 
fantastic. "Before the film started production, I was stuck overseas.  
However the producer refused to give up.  After I returned to Hong Kong 
and started work we ran into rain season, but we remained unaffected.  
Whenever we shot on location we had no rain, truly evil could not 
triumph over good."

* (2023/04/05) The film A LIGHT NEVER GOES OUT (DUN FOR LAN SHAN) two 
nights ago held a special screening.  Cast members Cecilia Choi Sze 
Wan, Henick Chou Hon Ning, Maverick Mak Chau Sing and Mimi Kung Chi Yan 
attended.  Sylvia Chang and Simon Yam Tat Wa were overseas but still 
sent videos to show their support.  Guests included Irene Wan Bik Ha, 
Larine Tang Yueping, Philip Ng Won Lung and others.
	Chou Hon Ning with LIGHT was nominated for the Hong Kong Film 
Award Best New Performer.  He said that this film would be very 
important to him.  He has waited for so long that he felt a little 
stressed.  He also was very emotional as the film would open soon.  
Instead he would treat his New Performer nomination normally.  He 
looked forward to good reviews the most.  However would he accept 
any critique on his performance?  He stated that his heart was very 
strong and would be able to, in addition opinions would be able to make 
him improve.
	Choi Sze Wan has not yet felt the pressure of her new film's 
opening.  She was the happiest about Sylvia Chang and Chou Hon Ning's 
Hong Kong Film Award nominations, especially Chou Hon Ning who already 
exceeded his class in his first film.  While watching the film his 
performance even moved her to tears.  The most memorable was working 
on the scene in which she scolded Chou Hon Ning for contributing to 
Sylvia Chang's delinquency.  The scene required her to scold him for 
several minutes in one take.  Fortunately only after one or two bad 
takes it was done.  As for her own lack of nomination, she admitted 
that she never thought about it and would not be disappointed.  The
focus of the film was on Sylvia Chang's experience of losing a mate.
	Mak Chau Sing brought his wife Kathy Yuen (Tong Yee) to 
attend his first movie's preview screening.  Tong Yee said that earlier 
at another preview she has already enjoyed it.  She certainly would 
give her husband a full score.  Chau Sing also said that his wife has 
always had nothing but praise for him.  Would her husband really 
flawless?  Tong Yee said, "If I have to complain I would say that he 
is too 'free' normally, maybe I am too anxious.  I have to praise 
though that he has been learning to cook lately.  Men who are willing 
to cook are very rare."  Chau Sing said that he would cook for his 
wife as well as his daughter, otherwise he would have no position at 
home.  In particular his wife knew how to bake cakes, he only knew how 
to dance.  He just wanted to learn another skill.  Tong Yee has been 
taste testing her husband's finished products, including eggs cooked in 
different ways and nine different soup.  However her husband was the 
one who ended up gaining weigh.  During photo sessions he had to suck 
in his belly.  Chau Sing jokingly asked his wife to remember to take 
him along when she would go running.

* (2023/04/05) The 68 year old Brigitte Lin (Lam Ching Ha) two days 
ago received a honorary social science doctorate degree at the Hong 
Kong University, and was called "a figure Hong Kong film cannot be 
without".  Lam Ching Ha after accepting the honorary doctorate degree 
with a smile turned around and bowed to the guests in the audience.  
The audience responded with applause and cheers.  Lam Ching Ha said, 
"I hope that I would be able to express a part of this noble love 
through words, so this world would become even better."
	Lam Ching Ha also posted on social media after receiving the 
honor.  "Thank you Hong Kong University for presenting me with this 
honorary social science doctorate degree.  To be able to receive the 
honorary doctorate degree with six outstanding people who have 
made incredible contributions to the world was beyond anything I could 
have dreamed of.  My mother in her youth, due to war and a variety of 
reasons, was unable to complete her education.  This was the greatest 
regret of her life, so she had a special connection to doctors.  Now 
one day her daughter actually became a doctor, I believe she in 
Heaven must be able to feel an enormous comfort.  The Hong Kong 
University is an internationally renowned higher education institution.  
For me to receive such a recognition from it, I am truly very, very 
honored.  I must contribute my best self and do more socially 
meaning things.  This way I would be able to live up to the 
expectation the Hong Kong University has of me."  
	Lam Ching Ha in 1973 with the Chiung Yao film OUTSIDE THE 
WINDOW became an overnight sensation in Taiwan.  She was only 19 at 
the time, and since has been firmly planted in show business for half 
a century.  Lam Ching Ha over the years has received many awards, 
including the 22nd Asia Pacific Film Festival Best Actress and the 27th 
Golden Horse Award bst Actress.  She eased out of entertainment and 
transitioned into an author, and her work also has received many 
literary awards.

* (2023/04/05) The 36th global film and television art Huading Awards 
earlier took place at the Avalon Hollywood in Los Angeles.  Charlene 
Choi Cheuk Yin with DETECTIVE VS. SLEUTHS (SUN TAM DAI JIN) received 
the Chinese language film Best Actress.  Louis Koo Tin Lok with 
WARRIORS OF FUTURE (MING YUT JIN GEI) won Best Actor.  
	Ah Sa was very grateful to win another Best Actress award and 
promised that she would repay the audience with even better films.  
She first thanked the Huading Awards and all the judges, then she 
thanked "director Wai Ka Fai, screenwriters Chan Wai Bun, Mak Tin Siu, 
producer Chu Suk Yee, thank you to the entire team, thank you all the 
actors.  To be able to receive everyone's help and recognition, to be 
able to work with such an excellent team, it is something very lucky 
on my journey as an actor.  I would carry a grateful heart, fighting 
determination and continue to bring even more exciting characters and 
films to life."  Ah Sa said that this year she would have many film 
releases.  "I would put even more time on film, coming up would be 
THE GOLDFINGER (GUM SAU JI).  I would also work on NEW POLICE STORY 2 
(SUN GAING CHAK GOO SI 2).  I hope to have even more good movies to 
bring to everyone."

* (2023/04/04) MIRROR's 4 most popular members Ian Chan Cheuk Yin, Edan 
Lui Cheuk On, Anson Lo (Cult Leader) and Keung To were invited to 
participate in the two night outdoors music festival performance in 
West Kowloon.  Three nights ago Ian and Edn performed, two nights ago 
Anson Lo, Keung To along with Charmaine Fong Ho Man, On Chan Kin On, 
independent group R.O.O.T, TomFatKi, Matt Force and others.  However 
on both days fans blasted MIRROR fans online for not respecting other 
singers!  Before MIRROR members appeared, MIRROR fans did not enter the 
venue.  They would rather gather outside and chat, and thus creating 
a lot of empty space in the audience.  After Keung To's performance 
"Keung candies" were witnessed to leave en masse, leaving Anson Lo to 
perform to empty chairs.
	Two nights ago was Keung To official return to the stage since 
his leg injury.  In the rain he danced and sang with the dancers and 
heated up the entire atmosphere.  He was sweating bullets from his 
performance, even his headset got tied up into knots and the crew to 
had to fix it on stage.  Although he did not speak, after the 
performance he gave a bow to the fans.  Then Anson Lo performed MR. 
STRANGER.  He said to his fans, "I really miss you, working hard for 
people who like me is worth it!"
	When Anson Lo appeared "Keung candies" rapidly left in droves.  
Because of the sheer number it became a line, severely interfering 
with the line of vision of "disciples" who had their hearts set on 
supporting the Cult Leader.  Someone kept screaming, "Leaving is fine, 
would you please duck down."  "I came to watch the show, not people's 
heads, please lower your body".  However "Keung candies" ignored the 
"pleas" and just kept going, enraging the "disciples" who criticized 
"Keung candies" for their selfish behavior and again proved their lack 
of "team spirit".
	Later many "disciples" and MIRROR fans on MIRROR groups went 
on a war path.  "The fact is tonight people who were leaving affected 
my enjoyment of the show.  Here I would only say what I saw, but people 
say I deliberately come here to make noise, saying I wasn't there."  
"I said several time, could you duck down and walk, everyone ignored 
me and kept talking on the phone"  Some MIRROR fans said, "On the show 
on the 1st, honestly when Edan appeared people stood up.  I asked people 
to sit down and they really did.  So I was very grateful."  MIRROR fans 
who have watched both shows said that the night with Ian and Edan, the 
fans were fine and supported each other's idols.  there was no sign of 
a fan exodus.  Ian, Edan and Anson Lo privately asked fans to support 
other group mates.  In comparison "Keung candies" were more self 
centered, some MIRROR fans even revealed, "I don't know whether Keung 
To has asked Keung candies to have team spirit, but I see Keung To's 
group only asked Keung candies to send videos back to it."
	After the show Keung To and Anson Lo spoke to the press 
separately.  Keung To said that he was sorry for putting his fans 
under a lot of pressure.  "The bow was for them and people who 
criticized me during this period.  Everyone criticized very well, I 
hope from now now I would be able to make everyone proud of me more."  
He said that his foot injury was almost completely healed.  He also 
said that the new film WE 12 (12 GWAI DOH) has already completed the 
table read and would start production soon.  The 12 were very happy to 
be able to make a movie together.  "My character has to fight a little, 
I don't know if it would be considered super power.  The film would be 
a little more exaggerated."  He also hoped that his fashion label would 
be released within the month.
	Anson Lo just returned from working on a movie in Japan and 
would continue to work on it in Hong Kong.  At the same time he would 
have to work on WE 12, but he stressed that every week he would have a 
day off.  Speaking of MIRROR's rumored "fan exodus", he said, "I know 
fans still gives me unyielding support, lately the support strength 
has been very strong.  So when I see them I have to thank them, and 
express that I really love them."

* (2023/04/04) Sam Hui Koon Kit's Hong Kong Coliseum concert series 
would take place starting April 7th.  3 days away from the 7 show 
performance, Song God Hui Koon Kit has been rehearsing intensely 
in hopes of welcoming the concert at his best and bringing exciting 
and memorable performances to the audience.
	The opening show concert guest on April 7th would be Terence 
Lam Ka Him, on April 8th and 9th would be Hins Cheung King Hin and 
Serrini respectively.  On the 10th would be post 80s singer Jolie 
Chan Hoi Tung and Georgina Henderson, a student of Hui Koon Kit's long 
time friend Christine Samson (former band D'Topnotes member).  On 
April 11th and 12th the guests would be Gigi8 Leung Wing Kei and Leo Ku 
Kui Ke respectively.
	Among the guest lists were singers Hui Koon Kit have known for 
a long time, and new generation singers who would work with Hui Koon 
Kit for the first time.  Sam said that he really admired the new 
generation singers and hoped that they would keep up their effort 
and bring Hong Kong even more original Cantonese songs.  The cross 
generational Cantonese song exchange made people look forward to what 
kind of spark Hui Koon Kit and each junior colleague would set off on 
the stage.  
	Lam Ka Him and Serrini would work with Sam for the first time.  
During rehearsal they became little fans and took photos with Sam.  
Serrini joked that she was the most afraid of saying something wrong 
on the stage, like asking Sam Gor whether he likes Lam Ka Him or her 
as his guest.

* (2023/04/03) MIRROR's Edan Lui Cheuk On and Ian Chan Cheuk Yin, Kaho 
Hung, Ivana Wong Yuen Chi two nights ago performed at the POPFEST HKT 
West Kowloon Music Festival.  Edan wore a hair clip and performed girl 
group Lolly Talk's TRIPLE SWEETNESS, played cute and danced for fans.  
He even brought out the MIRROR's "fan exodus" wave, clarifying that he 
never admitted it.  He felt that even if someone wanted to it would be 
their personal choice.  Fan would come and go, so they did not need to 
deliberately try to bring back fans who left.  Chan Cheuk Yin revealed 
that he wanted to perform a solo concert and hoped that it would happen 
this year.
	Ian and Edan performed at the festival.  Ian first performed 6 
songs.  He said that he has not sung so many in a very long time, so he 
was a little nervous.  He admitted that he really wanted to perform a 
solo concert because he had many songs that he created.  He knew their 
concept and progression and wanted the opportunity to perform them 
live.  He hoped to be able to do it this year.  Would he hope the 
company to promote his songs more?  Ian said, "The company would, I 
haven't deliberately reflected that to the company.  The fans would.  I 
would focus on the music, I believe the company would promote for me."  
Speaking of the MIRROR movie WE 12 (12 GWAI DOH), Ian revealed that 
his character would be more mild mannered, rely on his mind and not 
need to fight.  He revealed that he would have a car chase scene.  "I 
am very exciting.  When I had meetings with the car stunt team I 
already thought it would be a lot of fun.  I am not worried about the 
danger and would take all the safety measures."
	Edan followed.  Host Thor Lok Chun Wai first asked the 
audience to listen to Edan's recording.  Edan in a deep voice said, 
"Hi everyone, I am Edan.  Suddenly I don't feel so well, I may not be 
able to see everyone."  Then he joked, "Happy April Fools' Day, I can't 
stand it anymore."  When he appeared on the stage, the evening was 
brought to its climax.  He sked, "Did anyone believe it?  No?  Come on!  
I thought of many pranks, like the microphone has no sound, the piano 
has no sound, but no one would believe it.  Maybe I cried wolf too many 
times."  He played and sang MR. E'S SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS, then 
he sang TRIPLE SWEETNESS and put on hair clips with the dancers to 
sing and dance. They played cute for the fans and made them scream.  
After that he thanked the dancers for accepting his shameless request.
	Edan brought up the reported MIRROR "fan exodus".  "Lately the 
'fan exodus' has been talked about.  I never admitted it, but many 
facebook posts say Edan admitted the 'fan exodus'.  That doesn't 
matter, don't get mad.  However 'fan resignation' is a personal choice, 
'resigned fans' still exists in the universe of love."  He then sang 
LOVERSE and closed out the performance with MY APPLE PIE.
	Edan said that on a rare April Fools' Day show, he was having 
a little "fool" fun with everyone.  However no one believed it.  
Speaking of the MIRROR "fan exodus", Edan clarified, "The last time I 
was asked whether there was a 'fan exodus', I said, "Really?  I don't 
know.' but that was misunderstood.  That doesn't matter though, I 
would say it gain.  I don't feel there is a 'fan exodus'.  This comment 
is because I saw some people selling several fan support photos on 
social media, it's not a collective phenomenon.  From the start to now 
we have had fans who would no longer follow us.  I don't feel it's a 
big deal.  We don't feel there really is a 'fan exodus'."
	How would he bring the fans back?  Edan felt that there would 
be no need.  Fans are still here, they come and go.  "Why not say 
how to get more fans, keep making the work better and more good songs.  
Like this show has other singers' fans, they feel I danced pretty well, 
pretty funny.  Each performance is a valuable opportunity, I wouldn't 
plan to get fans."  He revealed that later MIRROR would appear at an 
event in its entirety.

* (2023/04/03) Aaron Kwok Fu Sing, Julian Cheung Chi Lam, Anita Yuen 
Wing Yee, Leo Ku Kui Ke, Kenny Bee (Chung Chun To) and other singers 
two nights ago took part in Miss You Much Leslie Concert 2023, the 
concert to remember the late superstar Leslie Cheung Kwok Wing on the 
20th anniversary of his passing.  Sing Sing as the final performer 
performed MONICA and WHO CAN RELATE to bring the evening to its 
climax.  He admitted that he felt honored to have been a dancer for 
Gor Gor.  In his heart Gor Gor was the genuine king of dance, no one 
would be able to replace him.  Chi Lam and Len Len appeared as a 
couple, Len Len shared her memories of her, her husband and Gor Gor as 
a trio.  She also joked that her husband was jealous of Gor gor, which 
made Chilam missed his cue for his LEFT RIGHT HAND performance.
	Two nights ago many in the industry participated.  Tony Leung 
Chiu Wai, Louis Koo Tin Lok, Carina Lau Ka Ling, Sandra Ng Kwan Yu 
and others shot videos to remember Gor Gor.  Lau Ka Ling said, "You and 
I ran into each other without schedule, entering into each other's 
lives; yet early summer that year, you left without saying goodbye.  
Between you and me we had a lot of history.  When I see peach blossoms, 
I would think for you tenderness; when I return to my old home, I 
would remember the warmth of me and you as neighbors; when I see 
sunshine, I would feel your warmth.  Now I am looking back gain, 'You 
left but have spread everywhere'.  Leslie, thank you for adding 
familiarity to everything in life."
	Gor Gor's companion Daffy Tong Hok Tang before the end of the 
concert remembered Gor Gor with the audience over a voice recording.  
The event paired it with photos from Gor Gor and Tong Tong's life.  
Tong Tong said, "An ancient saying goes, longevity is those who died 
but aren't dead.  Actually death isn't an end, being forgotten is.  
Very fortunately, Gor Gor in his 20 some years of performance life 
performed many deeply memorable characters; sang many songs that tug 
at the heart strings; and left behind many slutty, pretty, cool, and 
mean stage performance, all these have become our collective memory. 
Even more fortunately is, Gor Gor had a group of friends and fans who 
love him, cherish him and miss him so much.  I hereby represent Gor 
Gor in sincerely thanking everyone.   Today is a special day.  We 
should take this opportunity tonight (April 1st) to relive Gor Gor's 
past together, continue to miss you much, Leslie."
	Sing Sing while performing MONICA deliberately followed Gor 
Gor's stage presence exactly, after which he even pointed to the sky 
as a salute and blew a kiss.  He said that for 20 years Gor Gor had 
remained in his heart.  In 1986 his first show in the business was the 
Po Keung charity show, and he was lucky enough to perform with Gor 
Gor.  "At the time I was a dancer, I felt very honored and happy 
because I have danced for Gor Gor."  Sing Sing praised Gor Gor for 
treating the dancers very well and even took them to dinner.  He said, 
"Gor Gor smiled and said to dancers to put in the effort.  I really 
have put in the effort.  Although it was so many years ago, I believe 
fans around the world still love Leslie very much."  Sing Sing admitted 
that Gor Gor in his heart was the genuine king of dance, no one would 
be able to replace him.  Later Sing Sing also performed WHO CAN RELATE, 
as a giant red origami crane rose to the center of the stage.  
He said that this song was Gor Gor's first Gold Song award. At the 
time Gor Gor got teary eyed while singing.  thus he promised everyone 
that from then on when he sang this song he had to be happy.  He then 
led the crowd into clapping and singing along.
	When Chilam and Len Len appeared as a couple. Len Len between 
songs spoke of in 1986 when she went to see Gor Gor's Hong Kong 
Coliseum concert for the first time at age 15.  She was so excited 
that she got stomach cramps, after half the show she had to leave in 
pain to the hospital.  She never thought tht this half a show would 
begin their destiny.  Then Chilam sang DESTINY.  Len Len continued, "In 
1993 I worked with Gor Gor for the first time on HE IS A WOMAN, SHE IS 
A MAN (GUM JI YUK YIP).  We ended up working together for 5 times, 
each time as a couple but someone got jealous.  I remember when HE was 
released, Gor Gor, Chilam and I after dinner went to the movies to see 
the audience reaction together.  At the time I felt I was the luckiest 
woman in the entire world, because my left hand was holding Mr. Cheung, 
and my right hand was also holding Mr. Cheung."  The audience screamed 
and even Chilam laughed while performing LEFT RIGHT HAND and missed 
his cue.
	Len Len then said, "On April 1st, 2003, after work when I drove 
home and heard about the news of Gor Gor's passing on the radio, I sat 
in the car for a very, very long time.  The slope home felt very 
distant, never ending no matter how much I walked.  Everything went 
dark in front of my eyes.  I got home and sat on the sofa, as the past 
flashed in front of my eyes."  Chilam then sang WHERE ARE YOU, Len Len 
said that 20 years later today the world has already changed a lot.  
The only thing that has not changed was the thoughtful ones still loved 
Gor Gor.  She said, "His smile, laughter and singing would forever live 
in everyone's hearts.  The green mountain remains, after several 
sunset.....red."  Chilam proceeded to sing RED for the conclusion.  
	Considered himself a contemporary of Gor Gor, Ah B said that 
they have worked together on several movies.  They included THE CHINESE 
FEAST (GUM YUK MOON TONG), EAGLE SHOOTING HEROES (DONG SING SAI JAU), 
and THE NINTH HAPPINESS (GAU SING BO HEI).  In particular he remembered 
while working on NINTH, he was at the lowest point of his life.  
However someone still approached him to make a Lunar New Yer film, 
which he felt very encouraged by.  "Several years ago I chatted with 
NINTH producer (Raymond) Wong Pak Ming, who mentioned that back then 
actually Gor Gor recommended me for the role and saved the part for me.  
Thus it went from EIGHTH to NINTH, I am very grateful to have had such 
a good friend."
	After the concert ended, the singers took a photo backstage 
with Chan Suk Fun.  Sing Sing said that he and Gor Gor had too many 
memories.  "I remember when I first started, Gor Gor was already a 
superstar.  However he didn't put on any air at all, he really took 
care of the dancers.  Now I still treat dancers very well.  I feel 
this is the spirit that got passed on."  Sing Sing said that he chose 
to sing MONICA and WHO CAN RELATE, because the two songs had special 
meaning.
	Speaking of Len Len sharing her experience of going to watch 
HE IS A WOMAN at the movies, Chilam said that back then indeed was 
very interesting.  As for whether Chilam was jealous of Gor Gor, he 
paused for awhile before saying, "I think I was, but it was already a 
very longtime ago.  Now looking back it was very sweet, because it 
wasn't the feeling of a couple but everyone were great friends."
	Cheung Kwok Wing's Universal Record two nights ago held a 
tribute concert.  Two new generation singers Gigi Yim Ming Hay and Mike 
Tsang Pei Tak's performance was sharp.  Aside from singing DESTINY 
together, they individually sang two songs.  Tsang Pei Tak sang and 
danced to NO HEART TO SLEEP and received a passionate response.   Andy 
Hui Chi On returned to the concert stage for the first time since the 
"On Sum incident".  When he appeared the audience applauded, and fans 
screamed his name as encouragement.  Later after he, Edmond Leung Hon 
Man and William So Wing Hong sang LEFT RIGHT HAND, he flashed a smile 
as if he breathed a sigh of relief.  Leung Hon Man said that the first 
time he saw Gor Gor was when he guest starred in WHO'S THE WOMAN WHO'S 
THE MAN (GUM JI YUK YIP 2).  "What did you think Gor Gor say as soon 
as he saw me?"  He sang Leung's song TENDER GAME.  "Then he pat me on 
the shoulder and said, 'Leung Hon Man, my heart is as sweet as after 
having ten pieces of candy.'"
	Earlier renewing her contract with Universal, AGA performed 
REFUSE TO PLAY AGAIN, LITTLE STAR and SOMEONE WITH HEART.

* (2023/04/02) Yesterday was the 20th anniversary of the late music 
superstar Leslie Cheung Kwok Wing (Gor Gor)'s passing.  Memorial events 
were everywhere.  Joyce Cheng Yun Yi, Vivian Chow Wai Man, and Dicky 
Cheung Wai Kin last night performed at the Hong Kong Coliseum memorial 
concert.  Tony Leung Chiu Wai even recorded a video about Gor Gor.  
Many singers got misty eyed during their performance.
	Yesterday different memorial events for Cheung Kwok Wing took 
place all over Hong Kong.  Gor Gor's beloved Daffy Tong Hok Tak in the 
early morning posted many old photos of Gor Gor with a verse from WHO 
CAN RELATE.  Last night the star studded Miss You Much Leslie Concert 
2023 took place at the Hong Kong Coliseum.  The stage was simply 
decorated, with many giant red roses on its sides.  The event first 
played SEASONS to open the show, a video from Gor Gor's friend Tony 
Leung Chiu Wai.  He lightly spoke of how much he missed Gor Gor.  "In 
the spr8ng of 90, you and I worked together for the first time.  You 
became the Best Actor; in the fall of 94, you taught me to bury a 
watermelon in the desert.  You always had endless mischievous ideas; in 
winter 96, you promised me to go to Iguazu.  In the end only one made 
it; in summer 01, you personally presented the award to me, and I kept 
the promise between me and you on the stage.  All the seasons of the 
past, the highs and lows, rises and falls you were all there.  Today 
let us experience your seasons anew."
	Sandra Ng Kwan Yu said, "When I was 14, you appeared in my 
youth.  Thank you, my dream love; when I first got into the business, 
you put me in your music video.  Thank you, my music video lover; the 
inspiration of love, the spring of career, they were all because of 
you.  On the journey I witnessed your legend.  Now one and all they 
have become a legend.  I really wish you can personally......'start 
from the beginning tell me in details, those days of being dumb and 
dull, happy and lost you were like mad.'"
	Louis Koo Tin Lok said, "The autumn wind carried away the 
best leaf, but leave my memories of you.  A radio interview in 94, you 
and I have never met, but you made all of Hong Kong know my name.  The 
one mention was extraordinarily meaningful to me.  I know you still 
had any unfulfilled director dream, but I want to say, my life's 
screenplay has been rewritten because of what you said.  Thank you, Gor 
Gor.  Thank you, Director Cheung."
	Later the concert official began, Joyce Cheng Yun Yi in black 
feather evening wear opened the show with the film A BETTET TOMORROW's 
theme song PAST YEAR LOVE and got teary eyed.  She said that she chose 
this song.  "I hope through Gor Gor's music and videos, I can feel 
being shoulder to shoulder with him."  Later Dicky Cheung Wai Kin, who 
won the New Talent contest with Gor Gor's LOVE CROSS performed many 
hits, when he performed the last one he tearfully raised his head and 
stared sentimentally.  The group Supper Moment performed THE DUKE OF 
MOUNT DEER theme song and SILENT SWIM UPSTREAM.  STARS ACADEMY'S Yumi 
Chung Yau Man, Windy Zhan Tian Wen performed fast songs STAND UP and 
IN YOUNG GIRL'S HEART.  Another New Talent winner Patrick Tam Yiu Man 
after singing REFUSE TO PLAY AGAIN performed WILD WIND with the STARS 
ACADEMY singer.  Tam Yiu Man said that he got into the business because 
of Gor Gor, and was very grateful to him.  "Tonight I really have to 
thank Gor Gor, because when I was little I really worshipped him.  
Otherwise I wouldn't have the courage to take part in New Talent and 
get into the business.  You don't need many idols, the most important 
is Gor Gor."
	Vivian Chow Wai Man sang the song Gor Gor wrote for her IF YOU 
KNEW MY GOOD INTENTION. She thanked Gor Gor for lifting her up.  With 
To Chi Chi on hand as well, she felt even warmer; he tailored FAITHFUL 
ME for her to adapt.
	Alan Po (Bo Chi Lun) performed SIDE VIEW and BLACK NIGHT, then 
with Phil Lam Yik Hon he sang SILENCE IS GOLDEN.  Then he performed 
THINKING OF YOU.  Gin Lee sang CHASE and PASS BY DRAGONFLY.
	The concert boss Chan Suk Fun yesterday afternoon led a 
worship ceremony outside the Coliseum with participating singers Kenny 
Bee (Chung Chun To), Nadia Chan Chung Ling and others.  Mrs. Chan 
got choked up several times while speaking to the media.  When asked 
whether she was worried about comparisons outside with the other 
Gor Gor memorial concert last night, she said, "If everyone likes to 
compare then compare, both come from the heart."  Chan Chung Ling 
admitted that during rehearsal she broke down.  She also said 
that each guest would receive a gold origami crane and a coin with 
Gor Gor's side view.  On the coin would also be the guest's birthday.
	In addition, one of Gor Gor's record label Universal released 
REMEMBERING LESLIE memorial album this year and invited many new 
generation singers and groups to remake Gor Gor's classic songs as 
tributes.  Last night the label held REMINISCING LESLIE LIVE in Wan 
Chai.  Leon Lai Ming, Kelly Chen Wai Lam, Andy Hui Chi On, Gigi Leung 
Wing Kei, AGA (Kong Hoi Ka), Alex Lam Tak Shun, William So Wing Hong, 
Edmond Leung Hon Man, two STARS ACADEMY champions Gigi Yim Ming Hay and 
Jasmine Yam Hoi Ching, XiX, Mike Tsang Pei Tak, P1X3L, JNYBetz, Kerryta 
Chau Chi Hom, Rock Hill Street and others took turns to perform Gor 
Gor's hits.
	Taking place at the Convention Center last night, the concert 
began around 8:30PM.  The event began with a black and white photo of 
Cheung Kwok Wing and many of his songs.  Lai Ming in a black suit 
opened at the center of the stage, first performing Cheung Kwok Wing's 
hit PAST YEAR LOVE.  The screen also played Gor Gor's old photos in 
remembrance.  As soon as Lai Ming sang, the audience already 
passionately applauded and cheered.  Then the screen turned into a 
star lit background as Lai Ming performed Gor Gor's favorite STAR.  
Finally Lai Ming sang FALLEN FOR YOU.  When the music rose the audience 
already cheered.  Gor Gor also appeared on the screen in the song's 
music video and even had scenes with Anita Mui Yim Fong.  After the 
three songs Lai Ming bowed to the audience and said, "Thank you, to 
all the guests in the audience tonight, thank you!"
	Leung Wing Kei followed with a performance of SIDE VIEW.  She 
said, "Cheung Kwok Wing was an one of a kind artist, he was charming, 
kind and made great contributions to film and music.  Like everyone I 
miss him very much.  I dedicate this song LONELY NIGHT to everyone!"
	Lam Tak Shun sang LONELINESS IS HAZARDOUS, then STARS ACADEMY 
2 girl group XiX performed MISS YOU MUCH, Rock Hill Street and JNY 
performed COUNTDOWN WITH YOU.  Kelly performed for the first time since 
her accident last year.  After performing TENDER LOVE SWEET INTENTION 
she said, "Gor Gor and I worked together not on but off screen.  In 
2000 when (Aaron) Kwok Fu Sing and I worked together on AND I HATE YOU 
SO (SIU CHUN CHUN), which was Yee Chung Man directed.  Gor Gor and Yee 
Chung Man were good friends, so he invited Gor Gor to teach me acting.  
Hearing it now it sounded incredible.  I went with Yee Chung Man, 
(Claudie) Chung Chun to Gor Gor's Kadoorie Hill home for lessons.  Gor 
Gor was very efficient, taught me several major scenes.  He clicked 
right away and came up with minor details for us.  The whole thing was 
very well rounded.  If back then if my collaboration with Gor Gor 
wasn't behind the scene but in front, not for a movie but for this 
song, wouldn't it be even better?"  She then said WHO MADE YOU 
OBSESSED.  As she left the stage she said, "I really miss Gor Gor!"
	After a round of Gor Gor's hits, the event again showed Gor 
Gor's long hair concert video.  Then Leung Hon Man sang MISSING YOU 
and his contest winning song RUNNING TOWARD FUTURE DAYS.  So Wing 
Hong after THE COLDEST DAY said that he had his own agenda when 
picking the song.  Hui Chi On after the "On Sum incident" returned to 
the stage for the first time.  He in a white suit sang CHASE.  The 
audience applauded and gave an overwhelming response.  He said, "Thank 
you, thank you Leslie!"  Hui Chi On, So Wing Hong and Leung Hon Man 
sang LEFT RIGHT HANDS together and received applause.  The tense Hui 
Chi On also seemed to relax as he flashed a smile.
	Yim Ming Hay performed THIS LIFETIME and PASS BY DRAGONFLY, 
then with Tsang Pei Tak she sang DESTINY.  Tsang Pei Tak sang NO HEART 
TO SLEEP and WHO CAN RELATE; AGA sang REFUSE TO PLAY AGAIN, LITTLE 
STAR and SOMEONE WITH HEART.  Finally the event played Gor Gor's 
SEASONS to bring the memorial concert to a close.

* (2023/04/02) Last night many places held memorial events for Leslie 
Cheung Kwok Wing.  Around 6:43 PM (when Gor Gor passed away), Gor 
Gor's former manager Chan Suk Fun outside the Hong Kong Coliseum held 
a moment of silence with 800 fans; at the Cultural Center in Tsim Sha 
Tsui fans also organized Timeless Leslie 20th anniversary evening, 
with 2,000 fans from around the world on hand.  The event played a 
montage of Gor Gor's past video clips, and the never before released 
English single A SONG FOR YOU's music video.  Many fans were moved to 
tears.
	Gor Gor passed away at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel.  Outside 
the hotel several hundred fans gathered, with the line extending all 
the way to Chater Garden.  The presents fans brought were thoughtful, 
including a two meter tall origami crane tree that was filled with red 
origami cranes that represented Gor Gor.  Two men performed on the 
streets near the hotel, playing Gor Gor's classic songs on saxophone 
and drew many onlookers.

* (2023/04/02) Pat Ha Man Jik and Cecilia Yip Tung's first film NOMAD 
(LIT FOR CHING CHUN) worked with Leslie Cheung Kwok Wing.  Two nights 
ago Ha Man Jik and her niece Irina Tang Yee Ting attended the film's 4K 
restored director's cut premiere.  Founded a media company in 
Guangzhou, Ha Man Jik said that she hoped to make a movie with her 
niece Tang Yee Ting.  She praised her niece for being in better shape 
than she was.  With both looks and character, her niece would be able 
to be in a movie that would be as forward as NOMAD.  She joked that 
first and foremost her niece would not take any money.  She said that 
she was very happy about her first film from 40 years ago would be 
re-released, but she has never thought about it as it felt like a dream.  
In addition many of Gor Gor's memories flooded back into her heart.  
Because when she made the movie she was still a newcomer who knew 
nothing at all, "Gor Gor helped me a lot, reminding and teaching me in 
many places."  She was able to improve very fast and has always missed 
Gor Gor.  Thus when the event invited her, she returned to Hong Kong 
without a second thought.  
	Yip Tung said that the re-release of this film after over 40 
years gave her a very wonderful feeling because she got into show 
business with this film, which also became her primary profession.  She 
recalled that because the film was too forward at the time, it was 
banned for several months.  Yip Tung said that back then film still did 
not have a three category rating system.  Although at the time NOMAD 
did not perform well at the box office but because of its 
daring and forward subject, every year since then film festivals would 
select it for screening.  At the time she went from modeling to 
take her first step into film, she did not understand what acting was.  
She only learned to follow the director's request and act.  She also 
had no baggage.  Only after the film was released and she got attention 
did she learn to be afraid.  Speaking of 20 years since Gor Gor's 
passing, Yip Tung lamented that time went by very fast.  A lot have 
happened over these years.  She also attended many Gor Gor related 
memorial events this week.  "Gor Gor was very famous, very popular, 
because of a lot of problems he left us; which made me realize that I 
should cherish and actively face my own life even more."
	
* (2023/04/01) MIRROR member Jer Lau Ying Ting participated in the film 
OVER MY DEAD BODY (SEI SI SEI SI SEI SUP SEI) and performed the theme 
song SALTED FISH GAME.  Working with lyricist Wyman Wong for the first 
time, he sang the helplessness of Hong Kong people who turned into 
"salted fish" in order to buy a home.  In the lyrics "salted fish" 
referred to the modern city people who were only busy at work.  While 
working hard to pay off their homes they often forgot their dreams.  
Jer said, "When I go the lyrics I felt very surprised, the 'salted 
fish' in the song reminded people a famous line in a (Stephen) Chow 
Sing Chi movie, 'If people have no dream in life, how are they any 
different from salted fishes'.  I felt that Wyman wanted to remind 
the modern city people, not to continue to live in this type of 
condition.  Like me, if you like to sing and dance then do it, don't 
be someone without any flesh or blood."
	Jer felt that the challenge of singing this song was rather 
large, because the tempo was very hard to grasp.  He spent about two 
days before he was able to catch it accurately.  The song had many 
half steps, the last part even had to reach high notes.  In the end 
the singing had to go very far.  "It's like using the last of the 
strength to singing out the message of the song."  The line, "all 
salted fish, be fresh once again" was the entire song's theme, like 
it wanted to wake up people who were asleep to find something that 
their hearts longed for.  He said, "When I sang it I was really able 
to get into the mood.  I have liked to sing since I was little, I have 
experienced days of being a salted fish.  My first job wasn't one that 
I liked, at the time in order to make a living for the family and 
pay the mortgage, everyday I worked like a cog.  Luckily in the end I 
ran into a competition that changed my destiny, and I finally was able 
to leave this 'Salted Fish Game'."

* (2023/04/01) Anson Lo and Edan Lui Cheuk On yesterday attended an 
event.  Just returning from Japan, Anson Lo said that shooting all 
night in Japan was rather tough.  Luckily he was able to get half a 
day off to shop like crazy for stress relief.  Speaking of the 
group's rumored "fan exodus", they along with other MIRROR members 
in May would perform in Malaysia to attract "new fans" outside Hong 
Kong!
	Guy group MIRROR's Anson Lo and Keung To two nights ago 
returned from Japan, with almost 100 fans at the airport to welcome 
them.  Anson Lo saw fans, stopped to greet them and met heart gestures.  
Keung To got into his vehicle in seconds.
	The next day Anson Lo, Edan and Ian appeared at a theme park 
event.  Speaking of Anson Lo and Edan working on their film DOH YUET 
JEH in Japan, the former revealed that the schedule was very tight.  
"Most of the film would be at night, we shot from 6PM to before dawn.  
Going all night was tough."  Luckily he had half a time out of the 
tight production schedule for shopping, but Edan asked, "Really half 
a day?  Wasn't it more than half a day?"  Anson Lo explained, "Earlier 
I had one day that wasn't as crazy, that half a day was crazier.  I 
really bought stuff on that half a day.  (How much did you spend?)  I 
didn't count, money isn't everything.  The amount wouldn't be too big."  
Speaking of DOH's director Steve Yuen Kim Fai being accused of 
plagiarism in his music video, Edan said, "I didn't directly ask him, 
during the shoot I didn't want to affect his mood.  I saw him keep 
working so he was probably OK."
	In addition, the two and their group mates in May will be at 
a concert in Malaysia, hoping to have the chance to meet with fans 
there and introduce MIRROR to even more people.  Was it due to the 
recent "fan exodus" that they wanted to explore the overseas market?  
Anson Lo asked whether the "exodus" was real or fake.  "I haven't 
been paying special attention to any loss."  Edan said, "It's not 
because of that we are going to other places to bring in fans, we 
aren't that amazing.  I wouldn't feel if I go to another place I would 
be able to, I am not that great."
	As for fans who were upset that the May Hong Kong fan meet's 
fees and arrangements, were they worried that the negative news would 
cause the "exodus?  Anson Lo admitted, "For fan meets of course the 
more people the better, the greater the venue the better, but we have 
a lot of restrictions.  It's not something those in our position 
would be able to resolve."  Edan would like to see all of the fans 
the most and no one would need to spend too much.  "I hope in the 
future the company could buy a very large venue."

* (2023/04/01) Sammi Cheng Sau Man, Ian Chan Cheuk Yin, Kayan9896 
(Jeannie Ng Ka Yan), Angus Yeung Tin Yue, Elly Lam Sum Yee and others 
two nights go attended a fashion label's pop up concept store opening 
ceremony.  Sammi said that she would not mind the challenge of any 
look; as for her husband Andy Hui Chi On's return to the stage, she 
would be fully supportive and said that she was able to see On Jai did 
all his homework for this performance.  Speaking of the Hong Kong Film 
Awards being half a month away, Sammi revealed that she still has not 
prepared what to wear because she had to finish the jobs on her hand 
first.  Later she would have to fly overseas, so she would leave the 
task to her image designer.
	Would she have time to prepare for her summer concerts?  Sammi 
revealed that the preparation was heating up.  She was considering the 
stage concept, the rundown and the guest list.  Would she invite MIRROR 
to guest perform again?  She said getting all 12 would probably be 
very hard, since each of them would be busy on their own.  Looking back 
at the collaboration 4 years ago, it was indeed very valuable and rare.  
Whether colleagues or rising singers, guest presenters were all very 
valuable to her.
	Speaking of On Jai returning to the stage for the first time 
after the "On Sum Incident", he would participate in the April 1st 
Leslie Cheung Kwok Wing memorial concert.  As his wife has she given 
him any support?  Sammi said, "Actually everyday together is mutual 
support.  As for how to face the crowd and perform on the stage, I 
couldn't help.  He would rely on himself, but I am able to see that 
he has done his homework fully for this performance."
	Ian at the event ran into Sammi and Sammi even wrapped her 
arm around his, which made him happy like crazy.  He said, "My hands 
are really shaking, I am really very happy.  After being her concert 
guests years go, we haven't seen each other in a very long time.  
(Would you offer to be her summer concert guest?)  I really want to!  I 
would clear my schedule for that, because I am truly very grateful for 
the opportunity Sister Sammi gave MIRROR several years ago."
	Ian spoke for the first time about what happened earlier at 
the JJ Lin concert.  He admitted that he rehearsed but in the end it 
did not happen.  It was a misunderstanding in communication, which 
was very regrettable because being a guest performer for a singer like 
JJ was a very rare opportunity that he looked forward to.  He also 
felt very excited and kept preparing hard for it.  However he thought 
that everything was fate, and he looked forward to the next time they 
would have the opportunity to work together.  As for accusation that 
he stopped following JJ on social media because he was mad, he 
explained that he only followed people he has met in person or people 
he has worked with.  At first he thought that they would work together 
so he followed him.  It was a habit and no disrespect was intended.  He 
stressed that online and reality were two different matter.  In 
addition, fans were rumored to be upset at MIRROR's official meeting 
fees and quota, Ian said that he was not sure about the arrangement 
but thank fans for their endless love.  He also blew kisses to the fans

* (2023/04/01) Mike Tsang Pei Tak, Candy Cheung (Man Suet Yee), Andrew 
Yuen Man Kit, internationally renowned designer Alan Chan Yu-chien and 
choreographer Chris Choi yesterday attended the "Timeless Leslie 
Encounter" forum and remembered "Gor Gor" Leslie Cheung Kwok Wing 
on the 20th anniversary of his passing with "Gor" fans.  Tsang Pei Tak 
performed Gor Gor's song WHO CAN RELATE and said that the first time 
he came in contact with Gor Gor's film was watching his film ROUGE in 
secondary school.  At the time because he was young he only thought 
the color and the story were very pretty.  After growing up he finally 
understood what Gor Gor and Sister Mui (Anita Mui Yim Fong)'s 
characters were thinking in the story.
	When Tsang Pei Tak spoke with the media, he said that his 
remake of WHO CAN RELATE has had many new arrangements and an 
interpretation from a new angle with electronic style; remaking Gor 
Gor's song certainly was stressful because it was too classic.  He 
hoped that no one would not make any comparison whether they would like 
it or not, mainly it was a tribute.  He said that before getting into 
the business he has always sung Gor Gor's songs, especially his 
favorite SOMEONE WITH HEART, which was also a must sing song when he 
was a wedding singer.  He continued to learn from the elders and Gor 
Gor's interviews that Gor Gor was a very professional person who 
would put 100% passion into his work, but privately he was also a 
fun and playful person.  When everyone spoke of Gor Gor, they would 
always have a smile on their faces.  He sensed Gor Gor's magic and 
charm that was able to affect those around him.  He hoped that he 
would be able to do that as well.
	Gor Gor's friend and internationally renowned designer Chan
Yu-Chen in the 80s designed many album covers and promotional posters 
for Gor Gor.  The SIDE VIEW album cover photo sample that he designed 
for Gor Gor was on display at Olympian City.  Yesterday he even brought 
the STAND UP record to share with everyone.  "I designed Gor Gor's 
image for many years, after working together many times he gradually 
suggested even more ideas to me.  Gor Gor had great taste, a very 
tasteful superstar.  The communication and collaboration between us 
have always been very pleasant, to this day I still miss his charisma."
	Turning from colleagues to good friends with Gor Gor, Candy 
Cheung (Man Suet Yee) also spoke about her time with Gor Gor in her 
youth and brought a handbag that Gor Gor gave her.  "I have known Gor 
Gor since 1978, when we worked together on THE SPIRIT OF THE SWORD 
(YUEN FA SAI GIM LOK).  At the time a group of young people after 
work would go to one of their homes for a pot luck party.  Occasionally 
they would also meet to play mahjong.  How well Gor Gor treated us 
would always remain in my heart."
	Chris Choi was Gor Gor's concert choreographer.  He mentioned 
that Gor Gor at work was very serious and cautious, seeking perfection 
in each performance.  He did not want to give any room for others to 
criticize him, but Gor Gor privately also had his tender side.  "Gor 
Gor would remember my birthday, for three years in a row he gave the 
same series of crystal -- which was quite a pleasant surprise for me."  
Gor Gor's birthday present crystal series to Chris was also in this 
exhibition.

* (2023/04/01) Today was the 20th anniversary of "Gor Gor" Leslie 
Cheung Kwok Wing's passing.  For "Gor" fans to be able to get 
together and remember everything about Gor Gor, the Miss You Much 
Leslie 2023 concert would take place at the Hong Kong Coliseum.  The 
concert's chief producer Chan Suk Fun has been making the final 
preparations with the Coliseum and the production team for the past 
several days in hopes of making this concert its best, whether at the 
Coliseum or onlne "Gor" fans would be able to spend a special night.  
Mrs. Chan and the team conducted a small worship ceremony at the 
Coliseum.  She also gave a gentle reminder to everyone that the 
concert would start on time tonight at 8:15 PM, and she hoped that 
no one would be late and miss any exciting performance.  She again 
thanked all the singers, artists and friends for their participation.  
their support would definitely be able to ensure a heartwarming night 
for everyone.  Everyone would be able to laugh, cry, sing and listen 
to Gor Gor's songs together.  Mrs. Chan said that because this time 
had many guests , all of the backstage are would be used for 
preparation.  Thus no one should send floral arrangements to the 
Coliseum.  She also hoped that "Gor" fans would only bring one red or 
white rose to participate in the 6PM to 7:15PM memorial ceremony at 
the Coliseum plaza tonight, but the weather has been less than great 
the past few days.  Safety should come first for everyone, and Gor Gor 
would definitely receive everyone's well wishes.

* (2023/03/31) With fans seemingly all over Hong Kong, the popular guy 
group MIRROR has surprisingly turned into "abandoned".  As the Hong 
Kong pandemic prevention measures eased, after 3 years of suppression 
the Korean stream struck Hong Kong ferociously.  In addition some 
claimed that due to MIRROR's lack of improvement and freshness, the 
group recently suffered from "fan exodus" and even "MIRROR fans" 
selling their ware online.  Edan Lui Cheuk On two nights while 
attending a film premiere admitted that he has personally witnessed 
"fan exodus".  "It's a personal choice, I hope they would like me 
back later."
	Just returned from Japan, MIRROR member Edan two nights ago 
attended his film OVER MY DEAD BODY (SEI SI SEI SI SEI SUP SEI)'s 
premiere.  As expected he had a massive fan presence.  As for claims 
that the Korean stream striking Hong Kong and causing MIRROR's 
popularity to decline, Edan said, "I am not sure, everyone would have 
more choices.  Now it's time to let us know we would have to work 
harder.  I too want to see BLACKPINK and Eric Chou, but I am very mad 
that I have to work and couldn't.  It' s still good, everyone can more 
different stuff.  They are very sharp, so we have to do better, perform 
better.  (Some fans have 'backed out'?)  This is their personal choice, 
if after a long time, they don't like us as much it's no problem.  
Feelings are beyond our control.  If they feel we haven't worked 
harder enough, talented enough, then we have to work harder.  If I 
see fans leave, indeed I would be a little upset.  I can only wish that 
later they would like me back."
	Edan admitted that he has witnessed his fan backing out.  He 
said, "Once in awhile I would see people say they wouldn't follow me 
anymore.  I don't know about the number, but they are very kind and 
benevolent, they wouldn't deliberately tell us they are backing out.  
(Some said that it's because MIRROR are constantly less than complete?)  
All 12 together has been fewer, because we have our own jobs.  I hope 
to have a group variety program coming up.  It's being planned.  
Everyone would have to wait a little."  Earlier he and member Anson 
Lo Hon Ting while working in Japan shared a photo together but was 
blasted for taking advantage of their previous roles.  He rarely

then you wouldn't."  (Is ERROR afraid?)  I of course am not, not that 
many people like me to start with, now that more people like me, I have 
already defeated the me yesterday."  Starring in OVER, Teresa Mo Shun 
Kwan had confidence in "sonny" Edan.  She felt that MIRROR has always 
worked very hard. "I haven't seen this situation at all, when I come 
in just now, when Sonny (Edan) appeared it was like an earthquake."

* (2023/03/31) The 47th Hong Kong International Film Festival last 
night opened at the Hong Kong Cultural Center.  The Soi Cheang Pou Soi 
directed MAD FATE (MING ONG)'s Asian premiere and the Ann Hui On Wa 
directed ELEGIES world premiere were the opening films.  
	The opening ceremony guests included MAD FATE director Cheang 
Pou Soi, producer Elaine Chu Suk Yee, producer and screenwriter Yau Nai 
Hoi, screenwriter Li Chun Fai, stars Gordon Lam Ka Tung, Lokman Yeung, 
Ng Wing Sze, Berg Ng Ting Yip, Peter Chan Charm Man, Bonnie Wong Man 
Wai, Birdy Wong Ching Yan and Pancy Chan Pui Si.  ELEGY director Hui On 
Wa also attended the forum with the two poets in the film Wong Chan Yin 
and Liu Wai Tong.
	Already the international film festival ambassador for a fifth 
year, Kwok Fu Sing said that he had many memorable experience.  He felt 
that after this year he could retire on top, but earlier due to the 
pandemic the event was halted for a year and streamed online for 
another.  With the return to a physical film festival this year, he 
felt that the team put in a lot of effort and was very professional.  
He said, "Because earlier it had no way of taking place, the team held 
a state of mind of doing as much as they could instead of being 
disillusioned.  This spirit is worth commending, like being used on 
my own life and work concepts.  Doing as much as you can, it is very 
close to this year's event slogan 'Never Stop'.  I wish this year's 
film festival a successful completion!"
	Sing Sing just finished a part of his world tour and returned 
to Hong Kong to attend the film festival opening ceremony.  He said 
that he was very happy, because over the pandemic in the past three 
years, aside from the charity concert he has not performed on the stage.  
This year as the pandemic passed, he returned to normal and launched 
his world concert tour again.  Earlier he went to Atlantic City, Las 
Vegas, Chicago and Toronto and performed four shows.  Because he has 
not seen fans for too long, everyone was very passionate.  He also 
revealed that later he would perform in Singapore, Malaysia and Macau.  
Later he would work on another film, now he has several scripts in 
discussion.  His Hong Kong concert series will take place next year, 
and it will be an all new concert.
	He also said that because of school, his daughters did not 
follow him on tour.  However while performing in North America, he 
video chatted with his wife and daughters everyday.  When he would 
perform in Macau in July he probably would be able to bring them.  How 
would he celebrate Easter?  He said that Easter happens to be his 
second daughter's birthday, "but I would have a party.  Mainly it would 
be family fun, Papa and Mama want to give their children a happy 
birthday."
	Sing Sing said that he would remain very busy after returning 
to Hong Kong, he would have to work on movie post productions, 
record songs, and provide his voice to a film.  This time the director 
asked him to provide his voice personally, because Putonghua was not 
his strong suit and in the film his character had to speak it very 
fluent and colloquially, he needed to find a Putonghua instructor to 
instruct him.  In the past he had a voice actor whose voice was very 
similar to his, but he did not feel well recently.  Thus he agreed to 
the director's request.  Sing Sing joked that he has become addicting 
to voice acting, because when he listened to his Putonghua it sounded 
very different.  He believed that the audience would hear it and feel 
even more realism.  Thus in the future he hoped to try to provide his 
own voice, which he felt was pretty fun and was a type of learning for 
him.  Has he asked his wife Moka Fang to correct his Putonghua.  He 
joked that his daughters' Putonghua was better than his.  "My daughter 
even teaches me back, 'Papa, that's not how you say that.'  Now after 
learning, I even communicate better with my daughters."
	In addition, Sing Sing, Louis Koo Tin Lok and Sean Lau Ching 
Wan starred in THE WHITE STORM 3: HEAVEN OR HELL (SO DUK 3: YUN JOI TIN 
NGAI) yesterday released its 36 second teaser.  The trio in the film 
chatted on a yacht, behind their smiles each had his own ideas.
	Lam Ka Tung was asked about MAD FATE's producer Chu Suk 
Yee's claim that he did not consider the salary when he took the 
role.  Ka Tung joked that it was a long time ago, so there was not much 
to talk about.  In addition he has not participated in a Milky Way 
Image movie in a very long time, a good script was hard to find and 
after running Cheang Pou Soi, he could talk about the money later.  Did 
he invest his salary in the film too?  Ka Tung said, "I invested my 
heart and energy, as for whether I took a salary I would leave that 
for later.  (Would you share in the fruit of the labor later?)  It's 
like bicycle sharing, the most important is good word of mouth.  
Because the movie has many new actors and the subject is murder, and 
since To Sir (Johnnie To Kei Fung) asked, I couldn't refuse."  However, 
he admitted that this production has been very tough.  One of the 
scenes took over 30 takes.  He had to scream with all his might for 
the performance.  He screamed too much that even his voice was hoarse.  
In addition this character was silly and crazy, which made it even 
harder to play.  The film would be released in April.  Would he have 
any confidence in the box office performance?  He said, "I hope viewers 
would like it, I really haven't worked with Milky Way Image in many 
years.  This time can be considered a reunion, like going to Wudang 
Mountain to absorb the magical energy.  I would work harder in my 
performance."  He also said that not every movie could get him not 
to discuss money, if the production resources were poor but the script 
was good then he would support the film a little.  With ample 
production resources he would take his normal rate.  He has always 
supported film and felt that he had the responsibility to take care of 
newcomers.
	MIRROR captain Lokman Yeung said that the film was shot in 
2019 and participated in many film festival.  To be able to work with 
Milky Way Image, Cheang Pou Soi and Lam Tung on a movie, he was very 
happy and took the opportunity to learn from everyone.  He admitted 
that at first he was a little afraid of Ka Tung out of respect, as his 
presence was like a mountain.  By the middle of the production he 
finally dared to ask him for advice.  Lam was very willing to share 
with others and would correct his shortcomings.
	Recently rumored to be slipping in popularity, MIRROR appeared 
to have a fan resignation fever.  As the captain he said, "Sometimes 
it's because you love too deeply.  I really thank fans for their 
love, but love has many different types.  Some are love that you hold 
on tightly to, some you let go, sometimes you should distance yourself 
a little farther to see, coming out and going in sometimes are pretty 
fun too.  (Have you been upset?)  Maybe I feel fans love too much, 
which gets me very frustrated.  This has a lot of factors, some fans 
love one, some love many.  They also want us to have more opportunities 
to develop, when we have less jobs they feel bad for us.  So they 
should let go a little.  MIRROR wants to bring positive energy to 
everyone."  As for the official fan club being accused of making poor 
arrangements and grabbing money, Lokman Yeung pointed out that he would 
see everyone's reaction.  If the fan response data would be large, he 
would feel that they would need to make a little adjustment.  However 
where he has been working late he had no phone reception, thus he has 
not paid attention to fan reaction.  He also said, "If it is too money 
grabbing, we would reflect that to the company."

* (2023/03/30) The film site "Hong Kong Movie" organized 6th HONG 
KONG MOVIE AWARDS after the first round of voting has its nominees 
out of 27 qualifying Hong Kong films.  The second round voting will 
take place from March 30th to April 12th.  The results would be 
announced on April 13th.  This year the voting was very fierce.  Teresa 
Mo Shun Kwan with two nominations would compete with Sammi Cheng Sau 
Man for Best Actress.  Louis Cheung Kai Chung received two nominations 
for Best Supporting Actor and Best Actor.
	This time the Best Actress competition has been exceptionally 
exciting.  Mo Shun Kwan with MAMA'S AFFAIR and HONG KONG FAMILY
received two nominations.  Changing her genre, the Best Actress 
favorite Cheng Sau Man was nominated for LOST LOVE's "Auntie Tin Mei".  
Two publicly recognized strong actresses, each with their unique "Ma" 
roles.  Their performance also had their own difficulties.  
	Hong Kong Film Award Best Actress nominee and Hong Kong Film 
Critic Society Award Best Actress Cheng Sau Man received a Best Actress 
nomination.  She said, "I sincerely thank every vote that nominated us.  
We would continue to work hard, work hard on making good movies, good 
music, good characters."
	At the Awards, Best Actor nominees included Keung To (MAMA'S 
AFFAIR), Edan Lui Cheuk On (CHILLI LAUGH STORY), Mak Pui Tung (THE 
SPARRING PARTNER), Louis Cheung Kai Chung (THE NARROW ROAD) and Dayo 
Wong Tze Wa (TABLE FOR SIX).  Nominated for Best Supporting Actor with 
TABLE FOR SIX and Best Actor with THE NARROW ROAD, Cheung Kai Chung 
said, "Of course I am very happy, and hope that everyone would vote.  
Last year, Hong Kong film has had many outstanding work.  I am very 
honored to be able to compete with other actors."
	Keung To was also nominated for MAMA'S theme song RAIN OR 
SHINE in the new category Best Original Film Song; another MIRROR 
member Edan with HONG KONG FAMILY and other films was nominated for 
Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best New Actor and for the theme 
song ANT THAT CLIMBS THE STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN.  With 5 nominations Edn
became the most nominated actor this year.  Last year's Best New
Actor Anson Lo Hon Ting this year with HONG KONG FAMILY was nominated 
for Best Supporting Actor.
	Best Director nominee Kearen Pang Sau Wai thanked everyone who 
voted this movie.  "I am very happy that MAMA'S has different 
nominations.  This year has many outstanding Hong Kong films, whether 
movie tickets or votes are hard to come by.  Our team cherished them 
very much.  At the same time I hope everyone would continue to support 
different types of Hong Kong films."
	TABLE FOR SIX also received 9 nominations, director Sunny Chan 
Wing Sun received Best Director and Best New Director nominations.  He 
was happy.  "The most important for a movie are viewers, so I have to 
give special thanks to every voter and viewer for their support.  
Because performing a comedy is really very hard, they have given us 
even more power to make even more comedies for everyone for enjoy.  I 
hope everyone would continue to support us."
	HONG KONG FAMILY also received 9 nominations.  Best Director 
and Best New Director nominee Eric Tsang Hing Weng was happy about 
being nominated and thanked the MOVIE6 voters.  Tsang Hing Weng said,

* (2023/03/30) The 41st Hong Kong Film Awards will take place on April 
16th at the Hong Kong Cultural Center.  The organizer, the Hong Kong 
Film Awards Association yesterday released the Best Actor and Best 
Actress nominees' photos.  The 2018 Hong Kong Film Award Best Actress 
Teresa Mo Shun Kwan, who won with the film TOMORROW IS ANOTHER DAY, 
returned to the battlefield 5 years later.  This time she is nominated 
for the Emperor Motion Picture MAMA'S AFFAIR (AH MA YAU JOR DAI YI 
GOR) opposite Louisa So Yuk Wa, Angela Yuen Lai Lam and the current 
Golden Horse Award Best Actress Sylvia Chang.  In Mo Shun Kwan's eyes, 
several opponents are all people of substance.  Even Yuen Lai Lam who 
is lacking in experience also gives a divine performance.  She 
admitted that she has been paying attention to the rising new comers in 
film in recent years.  "Girls are especially sharp.  Yuen Lai Lam's 
acting is very natural.  (Jennifer) Yu Heung Ying has variety, and 
can play both rebellious and very nice.  (Louise) Wong Dan Nei really 
is very successful.  (Hedwig) Tam Sin Yin too.  They are all top 
notch, so I wouldn't have to worry about actors."
	Speaking of her MAMA'S performance, Mo Shun Kwan felt that 
it was somewhat similar to her TOMORROW role.  Both have sons and face 
with cheating husbands, only the two films are absolutely different 
in their style and handling of relationship .  She said, "I feel this 
time is more reserved, handling wise it has been very harder.  However 
the audience is affected even more, hence this movie is more worthy of 
winning an award."
	Already with a Best Actress award in her hand, was she ambitious 
about winning this time?  She made a comparison with mahjong.  "I feel 
anyone who sits down at the mahjong table doesn't want to lose money, 
of course they want to win.  however this time my state of mind is 
much more relaxed, but I believe in Yuen Lai Lam's performance.  If 
she would win I believe I would applaud very hard."

Mak Pui Tung -- four Academy for Performing Arts graduates and 
DETECTIVE VS. SLEUTHS (SUN TAM DAI JING)'s Sean Lau Ching Wan who 
started at the TVB artist training class.  The two time Best Actor Lau 
Ching Wan earlier with DETECTIVE received the Hong Kong Film Directors' 
Guild Best Actor and got a shot of confidence for his third Hong Kong 
Film Award Best Actor race.
	Wong Chau Sun with THE SUNNY SIDE OF THE STREET won the Golden 
Horse Award Best Actor.  THE NARROW ROAD 's Cheung Kai Chun won the 
Hong Kong Film Critic Society Best Actor.  Mak Pui Tung at the 16th 
Asian Film Awards won Best New Performer.  Yeung Wai Lun in THE 
SPARRING PARTNER played a murderer of both parents.  His resemblance 
to the figure the role was based on received praises from the defense 
attorney of the case.
	Among the Best Actress nominees, 4 were playing mothers in 
their roles, including MAMA'S AFFAIR's Sister Mo, LOST LOVE (LAU SHUI 
LOK FA)'s Sammi, THE NARROW ROAD's Yuen Lai Lam and A LIGHT NEVER

  characters' trajectories converge towards the end, the plot instead
  knits their fates together from the start. Crossing paths at the
  scene of a heinous crime in a brothel are the serial killer
  perpetrator and the upstanding detective chasing him, but also a
  delivery boy obsessed with blood and knives and an occultist feng
  shui master who had predicted the victim's gory fate without being

  struggles to anti-Japanese history, Venice Career Golden
  Lion-winning auteur Ann Hui finally films a topic she holds most
  dear ? poetry. Through her personal encounters with some of Hong
  Kong's most notable poets, Hui shows the topography of contemporary
  poetry on and of the city. Two poles of reality, the unrestrained
  Huang Canran and the cosmopolitan Liu Wai-tong, are juxtaposed to

  by the populace have been brutally suppressed. This mix of
  documentary, fiction, and visions of the future reveals the current
  state of desolate depression among the people of Hong Kong. "A
  desperate attempt to capture the final moments of a sinking island",

  In four chapters, Chan looks back at previous moments of resistance
  and revolution on the island: in 1967, 1973, and 1989. He shows how
