MISCELLANEOUS * (2022/10/05) Best Actor Nick Cheung Ka Fai worked on a film on the streets at Central despite his injury. He joked that since his injury has not healed, he could only stand still for fight scenes. His co-star William Chan Wai Ting turned into a 100 meter flash and ran like mad until he was out of breath. Both were very professional. Ka Fai earlier while working on the Emperor new film BAU LIT DIM (EXPLOSION POINT) injured his leg from a jump. Although he has already been treated and had appropriate rest, his injury still has not healed. The team would have to finish all of the shoot in Hong Kong before the middle of month then head to Malaysia for the location shoot, Ka Fai two days ago appeared at Central and shot the chase scenes that was halted earlier with co-star Chan Wai Ting. He joked that the producer once worked in the waste land in Malaysia and ended up with a centipede bite that required him to be treated at a hospital. "He said that he arranged for me and (Shaun) Tam Chun Yin to duel in a cavern, each time I worked on his movies nothing good came from it, haha! I said it would be the best if we wouldn't have to go, changing the location to shoot in Sai Kung would be the best." The day's "major scene" was on William. Louis Koo Tin Lok, Sean Lau Ching Wan and Philip Keung Ho Man were rather excited to receive the good news. Spending years of effort into making WARRIORS, Koo Tin Lok said, "I am very happy that WARRIORS OF FUTURE just passed HK$ 66.25 million to become the Hong Kong film number one, I am very moved! Producer Dante Lam Chiu Yin led actors Cheung Ka Fai, Chan Wai Ting, Shaun Tam Chun Yin, Tony Yang, Wong Yau Nam, Kevin Chu Kam Yin, Dai Yiu Ming, Jonathan Cheung Wing Hong, Aiden Hung Jor Sing and others all appeared. When he actually hit Yau Nam he too felt the pain. Earlier when he and Ka Fai had a fight scene in Wo Hap Shek, they suffered heat strokes one after another and needed ice for relief from the heat. "In the film we had to give the impression of men on the verge, so in the heat we had to wear coats, bulletproof vests and we had to run!" Years ago he and Lam Chiu Yin worked on a TVB series together and he has worked with action director Stephen Tung Wai many times. He only hoped to be able to get the best shot. The most memorable was a chase scene that took a week of overnight shoots. When he went to get salt tablets to prevent heat stroke, the clerk asked without a marathon race why would he buy any. He joked that working with Lam Chiu Yin was tougher than an Iron Men triathlon. Tam Chun Yin revealed that soon he would fly to Malaysia for location shoot, after which he would not have time to rest as he would return to the Mainland for a TVB modern series. He joked, "Nothing I can do, tuition is expensive and I have to make a living. However actually I haven't worked on a series in over 10 months, this time would be good. I would be able to shave and look handsome for a modern series." Coming from Taiwan, Tony Yang worked with Cheung Ka Fai and Lam Chiu Yin for the first time.
