Director Ng Wai Lun described the story to be about a jerk against a group of upper class scum. He handed the jerk to Tze Wa to play because Wong has not been seen scolding and jabbing at people in a very long time. Tze Wa said, "I hope to have good box office!" Boss, screenwriter and director Dennis Law Sau Yiu released the new suspense film A MURDER ERASED two years after his previous film. In the story a building was being rebuilt when a human body part was found 8 years after it was buried. The police suspected the victim's former wife Yin Fung Ping and the landlord "Scarface Chiu" conspired to commit murder, but as the investigation went on more and more suspicions surfaced and the murder seemed to have been erased without a trace. In the film Tin Ming played a character who lived in a subdivided room with arthritis, eczema and other illnesses.
